GIPE Ph.D 2020 – 2021 Entrance Exam Result
Candidates appearing in the Ph.D. entrance test will have to qualify the written test and then the second round of entrance test. interview. After the interview, final results shall be notified on the official website. The number of candidates to be admitted for the Ph.D. program shall be notified on the website of the Institute and through advertisement in at least two national newspapers, of which at least one shall be in the regional language. Candidates who pass the written test shall qualify the interview during which they shall present/discuss their research proposal before P.hD program.

Below we mentioned the eligibility conditions for reference purpose only. Candidate needs to fulfill certain eligibility criteria before applying for the GIPE PhD programme as decided by the institute.
- Academic requirement– a Postgraduate degree in Economics/Agricultural Economics/Population Studies/Law and Economics/Public Policy/Sociology.
- Minimum marks requirement– 55% marks in the aggregate (50% for reserved category candidates i.e. SC/ST/OBC/VJNT/DTNT) from recognized University/Institute.
GIPE Ph.D. Entrance Exam Admit Card 2020 -2021
No Admit Card is released for GIPE 2020 – 2021 Entrance Test. However, a list of shortlisted candidates is released wherein, shortlisted candidates can are required to appear in the written examination. Shortlisted candidates must report at the Institute for appearing in the written examination along with a valid identity proof. A list of candidates along with the seat numbers is published on the official website. No separate notification is sent to any candidate in this regard. Only shortlisted candidates added in the list are considered eligible to appear in the written test.
Important Instructions for examination day.
- The written test is scheduled to be held at 10.30 am at Gokhale Institute of Politics and Economics, Pune
- Candidates are required to report to the Institute at 9.45 am on the day of written test.
- Candidates are required to carry a valid identity proof on the day of examination.
- No test taker shall be allowed to enter the examination hall after 30 minutes of the commencement of exam.
- Any use of unfair means will lead to disqualification form exam.
