Only those candidates can take admission in the distance learning courses who have completed 10+2 / Graduation. The admission is based on the merit of the candidates in the qualifying examination. GNDU ODL Admission 2020 – Special Note
Keeping in the mind the present situation of COVID-19 in the country, the candidates can take provisional admission by submitting the scanned copies of their documents in the JPG or PDF format via e-mail. Once the candidates have submitted their documents, they can submit their admission fee after the verification of eligibility.
It is not necessary to visit the university for document verification. However, at the time of the counselling conducted by Guru Nanak Dev University, the candidates need to present all the original documents.

Step 2: Then, click on the student login form and theb, click on the ‘New Registration’ as shown in the image below.

Step 3: Next, select the option of already registered students or passed 10+2 / Graduation from any other university.

Step 4: In the next window, enter the details like previous board / university, previous class, roll number, aadhar number.
Step 5: Then, enter the academic details, educational details, personal details.
Step 6: Next, upload the scanned images of photograph and signature.
Step 7: Then, login with the student id and password and click on apply for course.

Step 8: In the next window, select the course.

Step 9: Then, click on the pay application fee.

Step 10: Lastly, check the application status and take a printout of the application form.

Application Fee: The candidates can pay the application fee using debit card / credit card / net banking.

GNDU ODL Admission 2020 Eligibility Criteria

UG Courses
B.Lib:
- The candidates must have passed BA / B.Sc / B.Com with minimum 50% marks.
OR
- The candidates must have passed MA / M.Sc / M.Com with minimum 50% marks.
BCA and B.Com: To pursue this course, the candidates must have done 10+2 or equivalent examination with minimum 40% aggregate marks.
PG Courses
MBA: The candidates must have completed their Bachelor’s degree / Master’s degree in any discipline or equivalent examination with minimum 50% marks as aggregate.
M.Com: In order to pursue this course, the candidates must have done B.Com (Hons.) (Regular) / BBA with at least 50% aggregate marks (45% for SC / ST). OR Any other examination recognized as equivalent to these examinations.
MA (Punjabi) and MA (English)
- The candidates must a bachelor’s degree in any faculty with 50% marks in aggregate.
OR
- The candidates must have 45% marks in the concerned subject or equivalent examination.
OR
- The candidates must have a master’s degree from this university or any other university in other subject or other faculty.
MCA: To pursue this courses, the candidates shall have:
- BBA / B.Com / B.Sc (Regular / Hons.) Economics or Graduate in any stream with Mathematics / Statistics / Computer Science / IT / Computer Applications / Computer Maintenance / Quantitative Techniques as one of the elective subjects with minimum 50% marks (45% marks for SC / ST).
OR
- Bachelor’s degree in any stream with minimum 50% marks in Mathematics as an elective subject at 10+2 level.
Diploma Programmes
- The candidates must have completed class 12th in any stream with minimum 45% marks in aggregate (40% marks for SC / ST)
PG Diploma Programmes
PG Diploma in Computer Application: To pursue this course, the candidates must have done Graduation with minimum 45% marks in aggregate or in the equivalent exam.
PG Diploma in Business Management: The candidates must have completed their Graduation or have passed an equivalent examination.
PG Diploma in Applied Nutrition: The candidates must have done Graduation with minimum 45% minimum aggregate marks or equivalent examination.
PG Diploma in Journalism & Mass Communication: To pursue this course, the candidates must have done Graduation with minimum 45% minimum aggregate marks or equivalent examination.

GNDU ODL Admission Process 2020
After the completion of registration process, the candidates need to attend the centralized counselling at Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar. At the time of admission, the candidates must carry the following documents.
- A printed copy of the online application form
- Duly filled and signed counselling performa
- 2 passport size photographs
- Matric certificate
- Senior secondary certificate
- Graduation / Post Graduation certificate
- Copy of aadhar card
- Caste certificate (if applicable)
- Migration certificate (in original, for the students other GNDU / PSEB), candidates will be given 30 days to submit the same
