HITSEEE 2021: Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science Engineering Entrance Exam (HITSEEE) is conducted by the Hindustan Institute of Technology & Science, Chennai. Candidates seeking admission to undergraduate Technology, Design and Architecture programs offered by the HITS University have to qualify this test. Based on the All India Rank (AIR) of the candidates in the HITSEEE 2021 exam, admissions are to be granted through counselling. As a deemed to be University, Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science conducts the HITSEEE exam once a year. Reportedly, around 4000 to 5000 candidates take the test every year. The student community of the institute is comprised of individuals from India as well as overseas. HITSEEE 2021 Exam Date
Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science is yet to officially announce the exact date of conducting the HITSEEE 2021 exam. Last year, the Institute initially scheduled the exam between April 25 to 30. However, after a series of postponement, the exam was finally conducted between August 5 to 7, 2020. The year before that, i.e. in 2019, the exam was conducted between April 28 to May 02. Based on such trends, it is being expected that the HITSEEE 2021 exam might be conducted during the last week of April 2021.

Based on the previous year information brochure, the HITSEEE exam is conducted for admission to undergraduate programs in the field of Engineering, Architecture and Design. The following programs are expected to be offered through HITSEEE 2021.

Eligibility Criteria for HITSEEE 2021
Candidates intending to appear in the 2021 HITSEEE for admission to the undergraduate programs offered by the University must have acquired specific qualifications to be eligible. In addition, one must also fulfil the conditions prescribed for age limitations. Check out the details as per the last year exam here.
For admission to B.Tech and B.Des programs
- Applicants must be at least 22 year of age.
- Candidates must have secured at least 50% marks in PCM in the academic stream.
- Candidates must have secured at least 50% in related subjects and vocational subjects.
- For Admission to B.Tech Biotechnology, candidates must have secured at least 50% in PCB.
For admission to B.Arch programs
- Applicants must be within the maximum age of 22 years.
- Candidates must have secured 50% in PCM in Class 12th exam and 50% overall.
- Those having a full time 3 years Diploma with Mathematics as a subject are also eligible.
- Candidates seeking admission to B.Arch program must have appeared in NATA and qualified the same by securing the minimum marks.
HITSEEE 2021 Application Form
As per the last year trends of HITSEEE, the application process of HITSEEE 2021 is expected to be conducted online at the official website only. No other modes of application are accepted and candidates have to fill-up and submit the online application form as per schedule. How to apply?
Candidates must at first register at the official website of the University. Thereafter, one can log in to fill up the online application form. Check out the instructions below.
Step 1: At the homepage of the University website i.e. hindustanuniv.ac.in, click on the link saying “Apply Now”
Step 2: Fill up the registration form by entering details including mobile number and email and thereafter setting a password.
Step 3: Now come back to the registration page again and click on the “Existing User Login” option.
Step 4: Enter email ID and password and click on the “Login” to access the online application form.
Step 5: Enter the correct details on the application form and upload the necessary documents in the form of scanned copies.
Step 6: Make the payment of the fees and complete the submission process.
Step 7: Print out the submitted application form/confirmation page for future reference.
An application fee as specified by the University must be deposited at the time of online application. Candidates must note that applications submitted without the payment of fee are not accepted as complete application.
As per the last year exam, the HITSEEE application fee amount is Rs 1000 for all candidates.

Although the University does not specify any detailed syllabus for the HITSEEE 2021 exam, based on the previous iteration of the exam, candidates are advised to follow the syllabus of the JEE. Exam Pattern of HITSEEE 2021
Last year, the University conducted an online computer based exam at centres across the nation. HITSEEE 2021 examination comprises of a CBT of 02 hours duration based on the syllabus as specified below.
