NTA has announced the result for CMAT 2020 on February 04, 2020, online at the official website, cmat.nta.nic.in. The result has been declared in the scorecard form and candidates can download it by using application number and date of birth. Through CMAT score candidates can apply for admission into 1000+ management institutes. The exam was conducted for 74486 registered candidates. How to Check NTA CMAT Result 2020?
Candidates who have appeared for CMAT exam can check their result by simply following the intructions as below.
1st step – Go to the official website, cmat.nta.nic.in and click on the direct link to view the result, that says “view result/score card” as shown below.

2nd step – After that, you will reach a login type page. Here you have to enter application number and date of birth.

3rd step – Click on the ‘submit’ button after which your scorecard will appear on the screen.
4th step – Now, download the scorecard and take out the printout of it for future reference.

How CMAT 2020 Result is Declared?
The result of CMAT 2020 is declared in 2 forms one is scorecard form and another is in the merit list.
Scorecard – The scorecard of all the candidates are declared online on the official website. Candidates who have appeared for the exam can check their scorecard by entering their application number and date of birth. Scorecard carries the marks of the candidate in each section and the total NTA CMAT score.
All India merit list – The merit list is released after the declaration of the result in the pdf format. Candidates who have qualified the exam can check their names in the list. Merit list consists of the name of the qualified candidates along with their ranks. Ranks are allotted to the candidates according to their score in the entrance exam.
How CMAT 2020 Result is Compiled?
The result is compiled based on the final answer key. As per the answer key, the correct and incorrect answers of candidates are marked and according to marking scheme marks are allotted:
Answers | Marks allotted |
For every correct answer | +4 |
For every incorrect answer | -1 |
For Unattempted answer | 0 |
More than one option is correct as per final answer key, then multiple correct options get | +4 |
Question is dropped then all candidates get | +4 |
After that, the raw score of each candidate is calculated by the given below formula:
Raw score = +4 x (total no. of correct answer) – 1 x ( total no. of incorrect answer)
Based on the raw score, the NTA CMAT score of the candidate is calculated by the given below formula:
NTA CMAT score = 100 X Number of candidates appeared in the examination with raw marks equal to or less than the candidate / Total number of candidates appeared
