IIT Madras had released the HSEE 2018 Application Form. The application process is now over but candidates can now check their application status. The forms have been issued on December 14, 2017, and the candidates could access and submit it until January 24, 2018. Candidates interested in applying for Humanities & Social Sciences Entrance Examination 2018 will have to ensure the eligibility first. The details to be submitted in the application form should be authentic and up to the best knowledge of the candidates. The fee amount for the HSEE Application Form 2018 is Rs. 2400 but the same for the Female/SC/ST/PwD candidates is Rs. 1200. HSEE 2018 Application Form

HSEE is an entry level entrance exam which will allow the aspirant to participate and take admission in 5 year integrated masters program. Desirous applicants must note down the below schedule to keep a track of the events which will take place as prescribed. HSEE application form cannot be submitted after the due date.

Things to Know Before Applying for HSEE 2018

The candidates should know the following details before starting to submit the application form of HSEE 2018.

  1. Application Fee Details: The amount of application fee varies as per the category. Hence, the candidates should carefully check it for their category.
  • Fee amount for Females / SC / ST / PwD Candidates is Rs. 1200.
  • Fee amount for rest of the categories is Rs. 2400.
  • Note that the Bank charges of Rs. 40 will be applicable separately.

The fee amount can be paid by Netbanking/ Credit/ Debit Card/E-Challan of Indian Bank.

  1. Specification for the Images to be Uploaded: The candidates will have to upload the Photograph, Signature, and Relevant Document in the application form. The specification to upload these are as below:

How to Fill HSEE Application Form 2018

The procedure to apply for HSEE 2018 is as mentioned below. The candidates must apply in the prescribed format or the form will be rejected.

Step-1-Online Registration: Firstly, the candidates will have to click on the link provided above and read all the instructions. Then, the candidates will have to click on the ‘Process to Apply Online’ button. There, under the New User section click on ‘Login Here’. The candidates will then have to enter the following details to Register for HSEE 2018:

  • Name of the Candidate as in SSLC/10th Class Certificate
  • Date of Birth as in SSLC/10th Standard Certificate
  • Email Address
  • Confirm Email Address
  • Create a Password
  • Retype Password
  • Mobile Number

Once registered, a new page will open. It will look as shown below and the candidates will have to click on the ‘ For Login’ button.

Step-2-Login: Next, the candidates will have to login by entering the:

  • Registered Email Address / Login ID
  • Password

Step-3-Filling HSEE 2018 Application: After the login, the application form for HSEE 2018 will be released and in it, the candidates will have to furnish the following details:

Step-4-Upload Images: Next, the candidates will have to upload the scanned images. These are to be uploaded in the format prescribed above. The images to be uploaded includes:

  • Photograph of Candidate
  • Signature of Candidate
  • Scanned images of 10th and 12th CertificatesSupporting Documents Required to be uploaded
  • Date of Birth Certificate
  • OBC-NCL/SC/ST/PwD category certificate in jpeg/jpg

After entering the data successfully, you may ‘finalize’ the details.

Step-5-Examination Fee: The last step is to pay the application fee. The amount and medium to submit the fee are also as prescribed above.

Payment by Indian Bank e-challan: A challan will only be valid for 10 days from the date of issuance. In case no MUP Ref No appears on the challan, try to generating it after some time (between 8.00 Hrs and 20.00 Hrs).

Payment by Net Banking / Credit Card / Debit Card:

Step-6-Form Submission: Completed application form must be submitted online only, along with the scanned photograph, signature, relevant certificates and fees. This completes the application form filling.

The examination will be held in 14 cities. The candidates will get the chance to submit two preferences but only one center will be allocated to them.
