IBAB Interview 2020 – Institute of Bioinformatics and Applied Biotechnology (IBAB) conducts personal interview on the basis of the Result. Qualified candidates/shortlisted candidates in the IBAB Entrance Test 2020 are called for the Interview that is held by IBAB. All the candidates will have advised to attend the interview round to admission in the M.Sc Course at IBAB. The interview is based on the candidate’s previous course(s)/projects and related fundamental concepts. IBAB Interview 2020

After the declaration of result , there is procedure for interview of the selected candidates who will qualify the cut off marks. The final selection is based on the interview process. Students are called for personal interview based on the cut ­off marks in the entrance test. The venue of the interview is notified later by the officials. Interviews of students not in person is allowed in extraordinary situations.

Interview at IBAB

Read the below given points.

• Students will be short-listed for the interview based on results of online entrance exam.
• Candidates will be advised to reserve tickets soon after applying to avoid last minute rush, if their interview venue will be out of the city.
• If selected for an interview, bring with them the original marks sheets and degree certificates (temporary exemption may be provided for those who appeared in the final exam in the last couple of months).
• Also bring a valid photo ID such as driving license, PAN card, passport or voter’s ID card.
• During the interviews, family members or friends accompanying the candidate can be put up in either the ladies’ or the gents’ hostel (without charge).

IBAB 2020 Selection Procedure

Candidates can check the selection procedure from below.

•  Shortlisting of candidates via Telephone or Skype Interviews
  • First round of selection will be based on the student’s performance in their Bacherlor’s course and via telephone or skype interviews conducted by IBAB faculty.
•  Interview of Shortlisted candidates at IBAB, Bengaluru
  • Second round of selection is via a computerized test followed by a panel interview at IBAB.
  • To qualify for the interview, all original certificates (10^th, 12^th and Bachelor’s transcripts and/or Degree certificate) have to be produced for verification.

IBAB 2020 Admission

• To confirm your admission, students who cleared the interview  have to pay a non-refundable deposit of Rs. 20,000/-, which will be adjusted towards the semester fee.
• Students have to submit their original documents at the time of admission, until the approval is received from Bangalore University.
• Set of documents to be provided at the time of admission:
  • Original  marks cards (10th /12th/ under-graduation)
  • Migration certificate

IBAB Bengaluru Entrance Exam 2020 Admission Procedure

Step 1: Apply online

• Incomplete forms may be rejected.
• IBAB reserves the right to reject the application if the applicant does not meet the required criteria.
• You must also email [email protected] with your name and Application No. immediately after submitting the form online.

Step 2: Shortlisting of candidates via Telephone or Skype Interviews 

• First round of selection will be based on the student’s performance in their Bachelor’s course and via telephone or Skype interviews conducted by IBAB faculty.

Step 3: Interview for short-listed candidates at IBAB, Bengaluru

• Second round of selection is via a computerized test followed by a panel interview at IBAB.
• To qualify for the interview, all original certificates (10^th, 12^th and Bachelor’s transcripts and/or Degree certificate) have to be produced for verification.

Step 4: Fee payment and admission

• All fees can be paid by NEFT or Demand Draft.
