IBSAT 2019 Result

The result for IBSAT 2019 has been released on the official website. To check the result, candidates have to log in using their application number and password. Candidates qualified based on IBSAT 2019 / CAT / GMAT / NMAT by GMAC are called for the selection process at IBS Hyderabad campus where they have to appear for the Group Discussion and Personal Interview Round.

IBS has a criterion for selecting the candidates. It asses the selected candidates with 100 marks on the basis of Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI) Round and also with their past academic records. IBSAT 2019 Slot Booking

Those candidates who submitted their application form before the last date and paid the complete amount of the application fee can access IBSAT login to book their slot. Through IBSAT 2019 slot booking process, candidates can select the test date, time and test center as per their preference. For this, candidates need to log in to their account using application number and password. Once the candidates successfully complete slot booking, the admit card for the entrance exam is automatically generated.

IBSAT 2019 Admit Card

IBS releases IBSAT admit card 2019 online at its official website, ibsindia.org. To download it, you require application number and password. No hard copy of the admit card is sent to the candidates via post. It contains personal details of the candidate as well as exam details like exam date, reporting timings, address of the test center, etc. Ensure that the details printed on the IBSAT admit card is correct and in case if there is any discrepancy, then contact the concerned authorities regarding this. Do not forget to carry a hard copy of the admit card and id proof to the test center.

Candidates can use the mock test facility for preparing for the entrance exam. It is free of cost and will help the candidates to understand the working of the computer-based test. IBSAT 2019 Exam Pattern

Candidates can check the exam pattern for IBSAT 2019 below.

  • Mode of the exam: IBSAT is an online computer based test (CBT)
  • Duration of the Examination: The entrance exam is of total of 02 hours duration.
  • Question Type: The paper consist of objective-type multiple choice questions (MCQ).
  • Language of the paper: The language of the questions will be in the English language only.
  • Total number of questions and marks: There are a total of 140 number of questions of 140 marks.
  • Marks for each correct answer: For a correct answer, you will get 01 marks.
  • Negative Marking: For an incorrect answer, there is no negative marking.

IBSAT 2019 Preparation Tips

All the aspiring candidates of IBSAT 2019 must prepare for the same by keeping their equal focus on all the sections (Verbal Ability, Reading Comprehension, Quantitative Ability, Adequacy and Data Interpretation) of IBSAT 2019. Candidates can check the preparation tips for IBSAT 2019 below.

IBSAT 2019 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates can check the Eligibility Criteria for appearing in the IBSAT 2019 Examination below.

  • Candidates must have a Graduation Degree which can be in any discipline with 50% and above as calculated by the concerned University with medium of instruction as English.
  • Applicant must have completed 15 years of education minimum (on 10+2+3 or 10+2+4 basis).
  • Applicants in their final year bachelor’s degree course are also eligible to apply, but they must complete their graduation requirements (including practical examinations /viva/assignments) before May 31, 2020. The last date for submission of proof of graduation is November 01, 2020.

Note: Candidates not meeting the eligibility criteria of English medium in graduation have to submit the TOEFL/ NELT/ IELTS score by May 31, 2020.

Candidates must go to the official site of the IBSAT 2019 to get the Application Form for the same. After completing the registration process for IBSAT 2019 candidates will get the Application Number and Password on their registered email id and contact number.

How to apply for IBSAT 2019?

Candidates who wish to appear for the IBSAT 2019 can follow the steps given below to fill the IBSAT 2019 Application Form.

Step 1: Go to the official IBSAT 2019 website and click on the “Apply to IBS” button.

Step 2: Candidates will have to submit their email id and contact number there to register themselves for IBSAT 2019.

Step 3: Next candidates will get a new screen where they will have to enter their Application Number and password which you will get on your registered email id or contact no.

Step 4: On entering and saving a valid password you will be taken to the Application Form page, enter all the required details like contact details, program information and past academic record details.

Step 5: Upload the required documents in their proper specifications.

Step 6: Submit the required amount of the Application Fee and then submit the Application Form to complete the Registration Process.

IBSAT 2019 Application Fees

Candidates must submit the IBSAT 2019 Application Fees to complete the process of Application Form for the same. The Application Fee for IBSAT 2019 can be paid in both online and offline mode. Candidates can pay the IBSAT 2019 Application Fee on the official website of IBSAT 2019 through Credit/Debit Card or by Net Banking. Those candidates who want to submit the IBSAT 2019 Application Fee offline can pay the fees in any of the IBS Marketing Centers.

Ans : Yes. IBSAT is conducted every year for admission to all programs of IBS at 95 test centers all over India. It is a 2hr computer-based test. IBSAT 2019 test is scheduled from December 21-22, 2019.

Ans : MBA Program - February 22-29, 2020 and for the Ph.D Program - March 07-08, 2020

Ans : Admission based on the IBSAT score and then Group Discussion and Personal interview.

Ans : IBSAT is an all India level examination conducted to fill seats in the MBA/PGPM courses at 7 IBS institutes namely, IBS Dehradun, IBS Jaipur, IBS Hyderabad for the MBA programme, and in IBS Ahmedabad, IBS Bangalore, IBS Kolkata and IBS Pune for the PGPM programme.

Ans : The IBSAT question paper is designed on a moderate to hard difficulty level. As there is no negative marking unlike other MBA entrance exams, the questions are on a little bit of a more difficult level.

Ans : No, it is not necessary to take any other MBA entrance exam such as CAT before applying for IBSAT 2019. Only a graduation degree is the minimum qualification that is a prerequisite for IBSAT.

Ans : Apart from the 7 IBS institutes the following institutes accept the IBSAT Score for admission: Adarsh Institute of Management and Information Technology (AIMIT) Bangalore, GIBS Business School Bangalore, FMS- Manav Rachna International Institute of Research and Studies, Faridabad, JK Business School, Gurgaon, Vanguard Business School, Bangalore, VYASA Business School, Bangalore.

Ans : The candidates can prepare for the IBSAT GD and PI round by preparing answers for some common GD/PI questions and watching some commonly asked GD topics. The candidates must also keep themselves aware of the current topics of general awareness, as many times the GD topics are current affairs of the world.
