ICSI CS Foundation / Executive / Professional Registration 2019 – The candidates who wish to appear for the CS Foundation/ Executive/ Professional examination need to register with the Board of Studies (BOS) first. The registration with the BOS is to be done online at the official website of ICSI, which is, icsi.edu. The ICSI CS Registration and Application are two completely different processes. The candidates need to first register with the Board of Studies to apply for the examination, then the candidates fill the application form of the examination to appear for it. For the ICSI CS Registration 2019, the aspirants need to fill in their personal details. Also, the aspirants will have to upload scanned images of their passport size photograph, signature etc as per the specifications. Documents Required for CS Registration 2019

Before the aspirants proceed to register with the Board of Studies, it is advised that they should keep the soft copy of the following documents ready for uploading the same on the website at your respective account. The list of documents are as follows: 

  • Photograph of the candidate
  • Signature of the candidate
  • DOB Certificate (10th Pass Certificate)
  • Roll Number (if appearing in 10+2)
  • 12th Passing certificate/Mark sheet
  • Category Certificate (if belonging to SC/ST OR Physically Handicapped Category)
  • Identity proof(Adhaar Card/Passport/Voter ID/Pan Card/Driving License/Ration Card)

Specifications of Uploading Documents in the CS Registration 2019

The candidates need to upload the documents as given above as per the specifications only. If the image uploaded by the candidate is not as per the format or file size, it will not be accepted. Hence, it is important that you must upload images as per the specification below.

How to Register with BOS for ICSI CS Foundation/ Executive/ Professional exam 2019?

Below, we have explained complete step-by-step registration process for each programme. The candidates must follow these instructions to successfully complete the ICSI CS Registration.

Part 1 – CS Foundation Registration for 2019 Exam

Registration Procedure: Now proceed for registration as follows.

  • Click the online services button on top of the ICSI website (http://www.icsi.edu/)
  • Go to the Students tab and click on Student Registration
  • Click on to the checklist of documents as applicable to you on the basis of your qualification,
  1. Photograph of the candidate
  2. Signature of the candidate
  3. DOB Certificate (10th Pass Certificate)
  4. Roll Number (if appearing)
  5. 12th Passing certificate/Mark sheet
  6. Category Certificate (if belonging to SC/ST OR Physically Handicapped Category)
  • Now Click on ‘Proceed to Registration’
  • Select the Course type as Foundation stage
  • Fill other fields.
  • Click on the option- ‘Make Payment’ for effecting necessary payments. Payment is to be made either by credit/debit card /net banking or through bank challan system

You will subsequently get username and password at your E mail ID. The user name and password will be provided within 24 hours of payment. After you get your username and password, please upload documents at the link sent at your email and upload documents.


Part 2 – CS Executive Registration for 2019 Exam

Registration: Now proceed for registration as follows

  • Click the online services button on top of the ICSI website (http://www.icsi.edu/)
  • Go to the Students tab and click on Student Registration
  • Click on to the checklist of documents as applicable to you on the basis of your qualification,
  1. Photograph of the candidate
  2. Signature of the candidate
  3. DOB Certificate (10th Pass Certificate)
  4. Roll Number (if appearing)
  5. 12th Passing certificate/Mark sheet
  6. Qualification Certificate/Mark sheets
  7. Category Certificate (if belonging to SC/ST OR Physically Handicapped Category
  • Now Click on ‘Proceed to Registration’
  • Select the Course type as Executive stage
  • Fill other fields.
  • Click on the option- ‘Make Payment’ for effecting necessary payments. Payment is to be made either by credit/debit card /net banking or through bank challan system.

You will subsequently get username and password at your E mail ID
(The user name and password will be provided within 24 hours of payment.)

After you get your username and password, please upload documents at the link sent at your mail and upload documents.

Process of accessing your account after registering to ICSI for uploading documents

  1. Click on online services button on top of the ICSI website (http://www.icsi.edu/)
  2. Thereafter Click on login button
  3. Enter your Username and Password
  4. After Login, Go to Students and then click “My Account”
  5. Click on “Manage Account”
  6. Upload documents at certificate details tab and qualification tab given under manage account option
  7. Once all required documents have been uploaded, the applications are checked at Directorate of Student Services and if found OK, it is approved. If any discrepancies are found, then student concerned is informed by e-mail to complete the requirement.

The process of downloading Registration Letter / E-Identity Card through Online Services:

Students can download their e-Identity card and registration letter from Institute’s website http://www.icsi.edu after approval of their application by the Institute by following the given below simple procedure:

  • Click on online services log at http://www.icsi.edu
  • Log in to your account .Enter your “Username” & “Password”
  • Click on “student” option
  • Open “my account”
  • Go to “others” option at student’s account

Students can download registration letter / e-Identity card at others option at their account.

After downloading the Identity card, students are compulsorily required to get it attested by any of the following authorities with his/her seal carrying name, professional membership No., designation and complete official address:

  1. Member of the Institute, with ACS/FCS No.
  2. Gazetted Officer of the Central or State Government.
  3. Manager of a Nationalised Bank.
  4. Principal of a recognized School/College.
  5. Officers of ICSI

Unattested Identity Cards are not valid and the students are advised to carry duly attested Identity Card for various services during their visits to the offices of the Institute, Examination centers, etc.


Part 3 – CS Professional Registration for 2019 Exam

Registration: The procedure for registration is as mentioned below.

  • Login to Online Services at http://www.icsi.edu
  • Click Student and then select My Account
  • Click Professional Registration under “Payment Request” option
  • Upload pass mark sheet of both modules of Executive Programme by clicking on choose file.
  • Make Payment of Rs 12,000/- through Credit Card / Debit Card / Net Banking.
  • For all successful payments an acknowledgement receipt is generated. in case receipt could not be generated due to any reason ,follow the procedure as given below.
  1. Click Student-> select My Account
  2. Click payment request->Generate payment Receipt
  3. Write Request id and Transaction id and click on check status.
  4. If payment is successful then the Receipt would be generated (otherwise the payment is not successful)
  • You are Successfully admitted in Professional Programme
  • In case of unsuccessful payment please resubmit your Professional Registration Form
  • After submission of fees download your Professional Registration Letter & E – Identity Card under “other” option.

Online examination enrollment process

  1. Login to Online Services at http://www.icsi.edu
  2. Click Student and then select My Account
  3. Click Examination Enrollment & then click on Submit Examination Form
  4. Select the Centre, Medium & Module (Please select these very carefully as there is a fee for every subsequent change in Enrollment Status)
  5. Proceed for Payment after verifying the details
  6. For all successful payment an acknowledgement is generated
  7. In case the amount is deducted from the bank account but acknowledgement is not generated, please check the status as per following process.
  8. Click Student-> select My Account
  9. Click payment request->Generate payment Receipt
  10. Write Request id and Transaction id and click on check status.
  11. If payment is successful then Receipt is generated (otherwise the payment is not successful)
  12. In case of unsuccessful payment please resubmit your examination form after unlocking the form by clicking on the relevant check box.
  13. If the fee is not received by the stipulated date, the examination form will be rejected without notice.
  14. After successful submission of Examination form, students may check the preliminary enrolment status at http://www.icsi.edu (under Announcement for Students).

Online process for claiming Exemptions

  • Click the online services button on top of the ICSI website (http://www.icsi.edu/) and thereafter click on login button.
  • Enter your Use Id : Registration number and Password
  • Then Click Login .After Login, Go to Students option and then click My Account
  • Go to Payment request option —- and select : Exemption qualification basis
  • Then in Exemption request Select Apply
  • Thereafter select Module
  • Then click on the subject in which the exemption is sought
  • Select the Qualification from drop down list
  • Then go to Upload supporting Documents
  • Select Payment Mode – and click “submit request button”

Part 4 – CS De Novo & Extension Registration Process

This is applicable in all the three exams. It is done by those candidates, whose registration has been canceled on expiry of 5 years or otherwise within 2 years of cancellation. For CS De Novo and Extension the candidates need to pay Rs. 1500 and follow the process below.

  • Login to Online Services at http://www.icsi.edu
  • Click Student and then select My Account
  • Click De novo Registration & Extension under “Payment Requests” option.
  • Select Request Type and Payment mode and then click on “Submit Request”
  • Request ID and Transaction ID will generate on successful submission of the request.
  • Proceed for payment through Credit Card / Debit Card / Net Banking/Challan.
  • For all successful payments, an acknowledgment receipt is generated and intimation will be sent on the respective email ID. In case of receipt could not be generated due to any reason, follow the procedure as given below: Click Student-> select My Account Click payment request->Generate payment Receipt Write Request id and Transaction id and click on check status. If payment is successful then the Receipt would be generated (otherwise the payment is not successful)
  • Please download the de novo registration Letter from Section “Letter for student” in “other” option
  • In case of unsuccessful payment please resubmit your request. Last date for apply de novo/extension of registration for June 2019 examination is April 2019.

Process of accessing your account after registering to ICSI for uploading documents

While uploading the document please ensure the following:

  • File format is jpg, jpeg, png, gif, bmp, pdf
  • File sizes of documents does not exceed 2 MB
  • Size of Student Photo is between 20KB – 50KB
  • Size of Student Signature is between 10KB – 20KB

Please follow the below step to access your registered account:

  • Click on online services button on top of the ICSI website (http://www.icsi.edu/)
  • Thereafter Click on login button
  • Enter your Username and Password
  • After Login, Go to Students and then click “My Account”
  • Click on “Manage Account”
  • Upload documents at certificate details tab given under manage account option.

Once all required documents have been uploaded, the applications are checked at Directorate of Student Services and if found OK, it is approved. If any discrepancies are found, then student concerned is informed by e-mail to complete the requirement.

Supply of Study materials

Study materials shall be dispatched directly by post from institute’s main stores Noida after verification of documents by the institute.

Process of downloading registration letter / e-Identity card through online Services

    Sir I am from Cs executive old syllabus..my registration period is going to expire on June 2019..old syllabus as well as new syllabus will conducted parallely till December 2019..sir my doubt is if I go for denovo registration will I have to give exam under new syllabus in December 2019 or I can give exam in old syllabus dec 2019 since denovo means ‘from the beginning’
    I have read icsi regulation it says denovo will be considered afresh registration for all practical purposes execept exemption & group cleared carry forward sir this implies if I do denovo registration it will be deemed as registration happens after June 2019 and sir as per icsi student whose registration is after 1 march 2018 will have to compulsory give exam under new syllabus..so sir do I also have to give exam under new syllabus in Dec 2019 if I go for denovo???…sir I really need to know plz help me out
