IGDTUW Course and Seat Intake
The data of the courses and seats in each course is as below:
- Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) – 60 seats
- Information Technology (IT) – 60 Seats
- Mechanical and Automation Engineering (MAE) – 60 Seats
- Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) – 60 Seats
IGDTUW Eligibility Criteria for B.Tech Admission 2017
The eligibility criteria of IGDTUW has to be fulfilled by all the candidates. Under no circumstances, ineligible candidates will be granted admission. The criteria of eligibility is as below:
Education Qualification: Candidates should have cleared the qualifying examination with minimum of 60% marks, in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and English subject. Also, the candidate should have passed individually in each subject.
Relaxation: In the above criterion, the OBC candidates get 5% relaxation and the SC/ST candidates will receive 10% relaxation.
The qualifying examinations should be:
- Class 12th from CBSE Board
- ISCE 12th class
- Any other examination, equivalent to class 12th of CBSE
IGDTUW B.Tech 2017 Admission Process
The seat allocation will done on the basis of Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) Main 2017 score. The admission in B.Tech course will be granted as per score in JEE Main Paper I, whereas, the B,Arch admission will be on the basis of JEE Main Paper 2 scores.
For the allocation of seats, IGDTUW will participate in JAC Delhi. The dates for JAC counselling process will be announced in due course. The official website for it is jacdelhi.nic.in. As per JAC, 85% seats will be filled with candidates belonging to Delhi regions. However, the remaining seats will be allocated to those candidates who belong to other state.
