IGDTUW Counselling 2017 is conducted by Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University for Women for admission to M.Tech / MCA / Ph.D courses. IGDTUW Counselling 2017 schedule is given below.

A candidate, who fails to appear in person on the notified date and time for counseling, shall forfeit her claim for the seat which could be offered to her, had she been present on her turn.

  • All eligible candidates as per the list displayed are required to report at IGDTUW Delhi on 13th July 2017 along with the list of documents as mentioned below for seeking admission to MCA Programme, failing which they will not be allowed to appear in the counselling.
  • The information about the number of seats in each category can be found from the admission brochure, available at www.igdtuwadmission.nic.in.
  • Admission will be offered to the candidates during the counselling strictly on the basis of merit of their performance in the entrance examination and as per the reservation policy of the University. To be called for counselling does not guarantee of admission. University will not accept any claim of any type from candidates who will not be offered admission.

Documents Required

Documents to be produced at the time of counseling, for admission to M.Tech (Full Time/Part Time) Programmes

  1. Demand Draft of FEE in favor of “REGISTRAR, IGDTUW STUDENT FEE S/B ACCOUNT” payable at Delhi/New Delhi.
  2. Printout of application form duly signed by the candidate along with a passport size photograph
  3. Receipt of application fee of Rs. 750/- paid by the candidate and its photocopy
  4. Original & Self attested copy of Identity Proof(Passport / Aadhar card / Driving license/Voter ID/ PAN card)
  5. Original and self attested copy of GATE Score card / NET scorecard (whichever is applicable).
  6. Original and self attested copy of both Mark sheet and Degree of qualifying examination. In case, the candidate is appearing in the qualifying degree, she should bring original and self attested copy of the pre- final year/semester (whichever applicable).
  7. Original and self attested copy of class 10th certificate/ Mark-sheet in support of Date of Birth.
  8. Proof of CGPA/FGPA conversion to Percentage (if applicable).
  9. Original and self attested copy of Caste/ Category certificate (for the reserved categories only) issued by one of the following authorities of competent jurisdiction:
    • District Magistrate/ Additional District Magistrate/ Deputy Collector/ 1st Class Stipendiary Magistrate/ Commissioner City Magistrate (not below the rank of 1st class stipendiary Magistrate)/ Executive Magistrate/ Extra Assistant.
    • Chief Presidency Magistrate/ Additional Chief Presidency Magistrate/ Presidency Magistrate.
    • Revenue Officer not below the rank of Tehsildar.
    • Administrator/ Secretary to Administration/ Development Officer. (Lakshadweep and Minicoy Islands)
  10. Certificates at Annexure for Physically Challenged (PH) Candidates: A candidate seeking admission under the physically challenged (PH) category is required to bring original and photo copy of the certificate of Physical Disability issued by Chief Medical Officer of a district/ civil surgeon or any Government Hospital authorized to issue such certificates under the provisions of PWD Act 1995.
  11. Three self attested copies of latest passport size color photographs.
  12. In case of Part-Time M.Tech Applicants NOC from the current employer
  13. Affidavit (In case of change of name after marriage).

Documents required at the Time of Admission for MCA program

All candidates must bring a set of self attested photocopies of the following documents along with all originals at the time of reporting/counseling as per counseling schedule:

  1. Printout of application form duly signed by the candidate
  2. Receipt of application fee of Rs. 750/- paid by the candidate and its photocopy
  3. Original & Self attested copy of Identity Proof(Passport/Aadhar card/Driving license/Voter ID/ PAN card)
  4. Demand Draft of FEE in favor of “REGISTRAR, IGDTUW STUDENT FEE S/B ACCOUNT” payable at Delhi/New Delhi.
  5. Three passport size recent color photograph
  6. Downloaded self-attested Printout of the Admit Card & Score Card of NIMCET-2016
  7. The original and self-attested copy of marks sheet of the qualifying examination i.e. from Class XII, Graduation etc.
  8. The original and self-attested copy of Date of Birth certificate as indicated in High School or equivalent examination i.e. Class X
  9. The original certificate and self-attested copy for the reserved category, if other than the General Category. For candidates belonging to OBC – Non Creamy Layer will be required to submit the Certificate issued after June 2015.
  10. Medical fitness certificate original in case of General/SC/ST/DP/OBC/PH.
  11. Character Certificate in original issued by Principal/HOD/Dean/Director of the last attended Institution or from a Gazetted Officer not less than six months earlier.
  12. Undertaking for anti ragging as per the format from self and parent as per the direction of Hon’ble Supreme Court of India.
  13. For Defence Category(CW) following priority will be used for admission (As per annexure ):
    • Priority I – Widows/wards of Defence Personnel/Para-Military Personnel killed in action. Required Certificate: Proof in Original.
    • Priority II – Wards of serving Defence personnel and ex-servicemen/Para-Military Personnel disabled in action. Required Certificate: Original disability certificate clearly indicating the disability is attributable to Military Services.
    • Priority III – Widows/wards of Defence Personnel/Para-Military Personnel who died in peace time with death attributable to Military Service. Required Certificate: Original death certificate clearly indicating the cause of death is attributable to Military Services.
    • Priority IV – Wards of Defence Personnel/Para-Military Personnel disabled in peace time with disability attributable to Military Service. Required Certificate: Original disability certificate clearly indicating the disability is attributable to Military Services.
    • Priority V – Wards of serving Defence Personnel and ex-servicemen para-Military / police personnel who are in receipt of Gallantry Awards.
    • Priority VI – Wards of Defence Ex-servicemen. Required Certificate: Original exservicemen Identity Card/discharge book/PPO (Pension Payment Order).
    • Priority VII – Wards of Serving Defence personnel. Required Certificate: Original Service Identity Card and Dependent Card/ Certificate issued by the Competent Authority.
  14. A certificate from the Vocational Rehabilitation Centre for Physically Handicapped Karkardooma, Vikas Marg, Delhi-110092 is to be produced at the time of counselling/admission, which will certify that the applicant is fit for undergoing the said course (Annexure). No certificate other than this shall be allowed for availing seat under ‘PH’ Category

Withdrawal of Allotted Seat and Refund of Fees

All the requests for withdrawal of admission in the prescribed Performa (as per Annexure) are to be submitted at IGDTUW. A proper receipt for withdrawal will be issued. The candidates will be required to surrender the original Admission Slip issued at the time of Counseling/Admission while applying for withdrawal of admission. No request for withdrawal of admission would be entertained without admission slip.

  1. Candidate can withdraw her admission on or before 31st July, 2017. In such case all fee deposited by her will be refunded to her with a deduction of Rs 1000/- .
  2. If a candidate withdraws her admission after 31st July, 2017 the complete fee paid by her will be forfeited except the security fees.
  3. Spot round for MCA/M.Tech will be conducted if seat remain vacant and its information will be displayed on university website www.igdtuw.ac.in.
