IGRUA 2019 – Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Uran Akademi (IGRUA) is going to conducting IGRUA 2019 Entrance Exam for the candidates willing to be selected for the course of Commercial Pilot License (CPL). It is an autonomous body under the Ministry of Civil Aviation Govt. of India. The entrance test is conducted on June 01, 2019. IGRUA 2019 Eligibility Criteria
Before filling up the application form candidates must make sure that they fulfill the eligibility criteria as per laid by the conducting body. Candidates can check the various eligibility criteria before applying.
Age Limit: Interested candidates must be of minimum 17 years of age to apply for IGRUA 2019 exam.
Academic Qualifications: The educational qualification varies for each category. Let us look at the table below to get information regarding the eligibility criteria.

Note: Candidates belonging to ST/SC/OBC (reserved category) do not qualify even after giving relaxation of 5% for the written test then the concerned seats will be allotted to the candidates belonging to the general category.
IGRUA 2019 Application Form
The Application Form has been released in online mode. Candidates are required to be filled in the prescribed format only. Candidates will have to complete the application process which will consist of various stages like the registration form, filling up the personal details, educational qualifications uploading the relevant documents and at last submitting the application fee.
Application Fee: The application fee is Rs. 10,000 for general and OBC / EWS candidates. Candidates belonging to the reserved category (SC/ST) are exempted from the application fee payment. Candidates had the option to pay the application fee through Internet Banking, Debit Card or Credit Card or also through Bank Challan.
Documents to be submitted along with the Application Form
Candidates must upload the scanned documents along with the application form to complete the application process.

Note: candidates must enter their valid E-mail ID and Phone Number as all the important information related to the exam will be communicated on the registered mobile number/e-mail.
IGRUA 2019 Admit Card
Admit card is an important document as it contains important information related to the examination. It wille made to the candidates on the scheduled date by the authoritative body. Candidates who will submit the application form on time along with the application fee will be issued hall ticket. It will be available on the official website. The link to download the same will also be provided on this page after the availability of admit card. Candidates will be required to enter their login details to download the admit card. Applicants should not forget to bring the application form on the day of examination. Admit card will serve as an important document for attending Interview / Aptitude test. Candidates must keep the admit card safely till the time of joining.
IGRUA 2019 Exam Pattern
Candidates must know the exam pattern to have an idea about the pattern of the exam. It will be very essential for the candidates who will be taking the INGRUA 2019 Entrance Exam test as it will help them in the preparation of the exam.
The mode of the Exam: Online
Subjects:General English, Maths, Physics, Reasoning & Current Affairs (10+2 level objective type questions only and No negative marking )
Qualifying marks: The cutoff marks for SC/ST/EWS/OBC candidates will be 5% less from the cut off marks secured by the last candidate in the General category
Negative Marking: There shall be no negative marking in the exam.
Note: The questions will be based on the subjects as per of the 10+2 level.
Interview / Viva
Candidates who will qualify the written test will be eligible for the next round which will be the interview. Eligible candidates should be present for the interview round at the allotted date and time. The shortlisted candidates will have to produce the relevant documents required during the interview round. Applicants who will qualify this round will be eligible for the next round which is Pilot Aptitude Test / Psychometric Test. Applicants who will be qualifying for this round will be must bring the original as well as a copy of each document listed below.
- Proof of Date of Birth ( such as 10th Class certificate )
- 10th Mark sheet
- 10+2 Mark sheet
- Caste Certificate for SC/ST/OBC Candidates
- A Certificate from the competent Authority that the OBC Candidate does not belong to Creamy layer.
- A Certificate from an officer not below the rank of Tehsildar that the candidate falls under EWS category.
- Admit Card Downloaded for Written Test
Pilot Aptitude Test / Psychometric Test
- Only successful candidates in Pilot Aptitude / Psychometric Test shall qualify for final selection.
- No relaxation criteria will be applicable for SC/ST/EWS/OBC Candidates in Pilot Aptitude/Psychometric Test
IGRUA 2019 Exam Centers
Candidates had the option to choose 3 centers according to their first, second and third choice respectively. The conducting body reserves the right to cancel/change any center if numbers of Applicants for the Center are insufficient.
IGRUA 2019 Result
The IGRUA 2019 Entrance Exam result will be declared by the conducting body on the official website. The direct link to check the result will also be given in the “Result” page in the quick links section. The Result will be declared after the successful completion of all the rounds which is written test, Interview, and Pilot Aptitude Test / Psychometric Test. It is advised that after the result declaration candidates, must take a print out of the result for as it will be required for future purposes.
Commitment Money: Shortlisted candidates including the candidates belonging to reserved categories (SC / ST / OBC) will be required to pay commitment money of Rs. 2 Lacs. The commitment money will be non-refundable but can be adjusted against the total fee after the result declaration to secure the seat for Commercial Pilot License (CPL).
IGRUA 2019 Selection Procedure
Candidates will be selected on the basis of the computer-based test which will be followed by Interview round and the Pilot Aptitude Test. Candidates willing to take admission in Commercial Pilot License (CPL) course must clear all the stages of the examination so that they are eligible to take admission in the course they were aspiring of. Applicants who will qualify the written test will be eligible for the next round which is Interview/Viva. Aspirants who will qualify both the above rounds will be called for Pilot Aptitude Test / Psychometric Test. Candidates who will clear all the rounds will have to pay the Commitment Money. This will be applicable to the candidates belonging to all the categories i.e. reserved and unreserved.
