The Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) is one of the most sought after and the highest ranked school in India, for a degree in MBA (International Business). Admission Process in IIFT for Foreign Nationals – Admission of NRI and Foreign Candidates to MBA (International Business) Programme in IIFT is done on the basis of GMAT Score and Personal Interview. Shortlisted candidates have to appear for Personal Interview at IIFT campus.

Documents Required for IIFT 2020 Application Form
The candidates had to keep ready the following documents in correct order before they start filling the application form for Indian Institute of Foreign Trade. Do’s and Dont’s for Uploading the Images
- It is advised to upload a color passport size photo of yours in the IIFT Application Form.
- Image should eb clear and all your facial features should be clearly visible in it.
- There should be no “red-eye” in the photo.
- Signature should be done in running handwriting only.
- Signature done in CAPITAL LETTERS are not acceptable
- Use only Blue/ balck ball point pen for signature
- Do not upload excessive space at the time of scanning the photo

How to fill IIFT 2020 Application Form?
The candidates shall follow the instructions given below to fill the IIFT 2020 Application Form:
Step 1: Click on the direct link provided on this page to fill IIFT Application Form 2020.

Step 2: Next, the aspirants have to register online by entering their name, date of birth, category, email id, mobile number etc.

Step 3: Once the candidates successfully register, they will get the IIFT Application Number and password on their screen. The same will also be sent to the candidate’s registered email id and mobile phone.

Step 4: Next, the candidates have to log in and then proceed to fill in details in the IIFT 2020 Application Form.
Step 5: Fill-in all the necessary details in the IIFT Form and upload the images as per the specification provided above.

Step 6: Once this is done, you can proceed to pay the required amount of the application fee.

Step 7: On payment of the application fee, the candidates should take a screenshot of the transaction and keep it with themselves for future reference.
Step 8: Lastly, take a print out of the completed application form.

IIFT 2020 Eligibility Criteria
In order to appear for the exam, it is important that the aspirants should first ensure that they fulfill the eligibility criteria for the test. The eligibility conditions for applying for IIFT 2020 test are as follows:
- Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university.
- Should have obtained 50% marks in the degree exam in case of general category candidates and 45% marks for SC/ST/PwD candidates..
Eligibility criteria for Foreign Nationals and NRI candidates
- Should have a recognized Bachelor’s degree of minimum 3 years’ duration with minimum 50% marks.
- Students who are appearing for a qualifying examination can also apply subject to submission of proof of requisite qualification by October 07, 2020.
- A candidate should have been (expected to be) resident outside India for a period of not less than 18 months as on December 31,, 2019 and be outside India during the IIFT examination window.
- The Indian nationals who are living, working, studying abroad have to produce with application a certificate from the Indian Embassy / High Commission /Consulate of the country where the candidate is currently based, stating that the candidate has been resident in that country continuously for a period of not less than 18 months as on December 31, 2019.
- Foreign Nationals must have a valid passport/travel document from a country other than India. The Foreign Nationals who are present in India at the time of IIFT entrance test are required to take the same.
- Candidate should produce Graduate Management Aptitude Test (GMAT) score which should be received by the Institute latest by 15th February 2020.
- GMAT taken before January 01, 2018 is not valid.
- In case if a candidate has appeared for any MBA entrance examination for that year in India (2019) such as CAT /XAT /IIFT, etc., he /she is not eligible to apply. Candidates are required to give the undertaking for the same.
- NRI-Sponsored candidates and Children of NRIs are not considered under this category.
Important Notice for J&K Candidates
NTA has released a notice in which it has been notified that the Jammu & Kashmir candidates only can submit the IIFT application form from November 04 to 08, 2019. This facility will be open for only those candidates who are Jammu & Kashmir and those who intend to take centre at J&K. For other candidates, last date to submit the application form is November 03, 2019.

IIFT 2020 Application Form Correction
Nta provide an opprtunity to the candidates to edit details in the IIFT 2020 Application Form. The form correction facility is provided online only. Aspirants have to login by enteringtheir application number and password in order to edit details in the form. There are only limited details which shall be edited by the candidates in the IIFT Application Form.
IIFT 2020 Admit Card
NTA releases IIFT MBA IB 2020 Admit Card online at its official website. No hard copy of the IIFT 2020 Hall Ticket is sent to the candidates via post. To download it, candidates have to login using their Application number and password. It consist of details like personal details of the candidate, exam date, timings, test center allotted to the candidate, address of the test center, etc. On the day of the test, the candidates need to carry a print out of the IIFT MBA IB Admit Card and a valid ID proof.

Ans. NTA has announced the IIFT 2020 Application process starts from September 09, 2019.
Ques. What is the expected exam date of IIFT 2020?
Ans. The IIFT exam is conducted in the 1st week of December each year. NTA is going to conduct IIFT MBA IB 2020 exam on Decmeber 01, 2019.
Ques. What are the necessary Graduation qualification required for admission in IIFT?
Ans. The candidates must have passed or should be in the final year of Graduation degree of minimum 3 years duration with 55% aggregate marks for general category candidates and 45% aggregate marks for SC/ST/PwD candidates.
Ques. What is the selection process for the IIFT programme?
Ans. The selections are done through Two Rounds. The performance of a candidate in the written test is assessed in Round 1 . The candidates who qualify the minimum marks will be called for Round 2, which includes Writing skill assessment, Group Discussion and a Personal Interview.
Ques. There was an error while making the fee payment, for the IIFT Entrance Exam. And now my payment has been made twice, what can be done now?
Ans. Do not worry, the application fee will be refunded and transferred to your bank account.
Ques. Which marks are to be uploaded in the IIFT Application Form, the final year percentage or the overall aggregate percentage?
Ans. The eligibility for the IIFT Entrance Exam is based on the overall aggregate of all semester/annual exams of the graduation degree. However the candidates who are still in the final year of the graduation must upload the aggregate marks of the exams already given by them in graduation.
Ques. I am in first year of my graduation degree, should I start preparing for my MBA? And how can I prepare for admission in IIFT IB?
Ans. The IIFT Entrance exam is a highly competitive exam, approximately 60000 candidates apply for 420 seats, therefore a candidate must prepare for all the rounds very carefully. Starting early will simply result in more practice for the exam.
About IIFT 2020
From the academic session 2020 onwards, the National Testing Agency (NTA) is going to conduct the entrance exam for admission to MBA courses in the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) which is an autonomous public business school established in 1963 by the Government of India. Till last year, IIFT used to conduct its own entrance exam for admission in MBA (IB). There is no change in the syllabus or exam pattern for IIFT MBA IB, however, the exam is now going to conducted in the Computer-based test mode.
About NTA
National Testing Agency (NTA) was established in November 2017. It is an Indian government agency that has been approved by the Union Council of Ministers. NTA is given the responsibility for conducting the entrance examinations for higher educational institutions. Vineet Joshi has been appointed as the first Director-General of the agency. So far, NTA has conducted the Joint Entrance Examination – Main (JEE Main), National Eligibility cum Entrance Test-Undergraduate (NEET UG), National Eligibility Test (NET), Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) and Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT). Few other exams which have been added to the list are Delhi University Entrance Test (DUET), JNUEE, JNUEE CEEB, IGNOU OPENMAT and BEd, AIEEA-UG and PG, IIFT.
