Candidates can apply to IIST through the IIST 2018 Application Form. The Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology (IIST) will start their online registration on May 22nd, 2018. Only the JEE Advanced 2018 qualifiers can apply for the IIST Admissions. The link for online registration will be provided once the application form will be released. IIST Application Form 2018

The Institute will be released the application form on www.iist.ac.in. Through the application form, candidates will be applying for the following course, which has 140 seats in all.

  • B.Tech Aerospace Engineering.
  • B.Tech Avionics.
  • Dual Degree (B.Tech + M.Tech).

Application Fee Details

The application fee for IIST varies for each caste. Candidates may check the fee amount for their caste once the Institue discloses their fee pattern. For the last year it was given as below:

  • General and OBC candidates – Rs. 600
  • Female candidates – Rs. 300
  • SC/ST candidates – Rs. 300

The amount of fee can only be paid online, from SBI Collect. Once the payment has been made, the candidates must download displayed receipt and keep it safe for future reference.

Requirements for Filling IIST 2018 Application Form

The candidates will need will the following to register and apply for IIST B.Tech Application Form 2018:

  • JEE Advanced Roll Number.
  • Date of Birth.
  • Valid E-mail Id.
  • Qualifying Examination Details.

Process to Apply for IIST B.Tech Admission 2018

The application form for IIST B.Tech admission can be submitted by following the steps below.

Step 2-Accessing the Login: The link above will lead candidates to the online registration portal. It will appear as below. Candidates will have to click on the “Step 1&2 Start Online Registration” Link.

Step 2-Online Registration: The link will lead to the login below. Candidates will then have to submit their JEE Advanced Roll Number and date of Birth.

Step 4Application Form Filling: Following the step above, the candidate will be able to access the IIST Application Form for B.Tech and submit personal, course, educational, and other details in it.

Step 5Application Fee Payment: Lastly, the candidates will have to submit the application fee. The fee amount is as mentioned above and is to be submitted through SBI Collect only.

To submit the IIST 2018 Application Form fee, the candidates will have to click on click on ‘Step3 :Payment through SBI-COLLECT’, as shown in the first image. The link will lead to the window as shown below.

Candidates will have to read all the details and click on ‘Click this link for Payment through SBI-COLLECT’ link. Then, the portal as shown below will open up.

Candidates will then have to check the box and click on the ‘Proceed’ button. Next, the candidates will be lead to the SBI login, and to access it candidates will have to submit State of Corporate/Institution and Type of Corporate/Institution.

IIST 2018 Application Form Status

Once the application form and fee is submitted, the candidates will be able to check the status. Through it, the candidates will come to know if their form has been submitted successfully or not.

To check the application form status, the candidates will have to follow the steps below:

  • Application form status link will be provided above.
  • Enter IIST 2018 Registration Number and Password.
  • Click on the ‘Login’ button.
  • Check the status.

If the application form status is negative, then the candidates may directly contact IIST about it.
