Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Delhi, has released answer key and question papers for all 25 subject papers of GATE. The question papers were uploaded in the late evening on, February 17, 2020, on the official website gate.iitd.ac.in. The answer key has been uploaded today, on February 28, 2020. It contains questions with the answer options. For ME and CE, the papers have been released for both the sessions.
GATE 2020 Question Paper
Usually, the GATE subject questions and answer key are uploaded in PDF format, however, this year the papers are not available in PDF format. The IIT has provided a link on the website using which aspirants can simply view the papers. However, we have re-created it as pdf and candidates can download it from below.
GATE 2020 Answer Key
Soon IIT Delhi will be releasing the answer key. The expected release date of the GATE answer key will be out by February 19, 2020. This is because IIT Delhi had already announced that the module to challenge the answer keys of any GATE paper will be available from February 19 to 21, 2020.
Now, since the module of challenging the keys is releasing on February 19, 2020, it can be expected that the answer keys will be uploaded on the same date or before that. IIT Delhi will be uploading the answer keys in the PDF format.
However, there is also a high possibility that the answer key will be out today, on February 18, 2020.
Challenging the GATE 2020 Answer Key: Candidates will be able to challenge the keys using their GOAPS login. To do so candidates have to visit appsgate.iitd.ac.in. Next the candidates have to login to the portal using their enrollment ID / email address and password. After giving the justification for a challenge and a payment of Rs. 500 per challenge candidates can submit their contests. The challenges will be reviewed and found valid, changes in the answer keys will be done and a final answer key will be uploaded.
Result of GATE 2020
The result of GATE 2020 will be calculated considering the answers in the final key of the exam. The result will be declared in the form of a scorecard and will be available for download under the respective logins of the candidates. The scorecard has GATE 2020 score, all India rank (AIR) in the paper and also the category wise cutoff marks for the paper. The result will be valid for 3 years from the date of the declaration for admissions and recruitment in the PSUs.
