ITSAT / ATIT 2020 Merit List
ICFAI releases a merit list soon after the declaration of the result. It is prepared based on the percetile score obtained by a candidate in the entrance exam. It consist of details of the candidate who have qualified the test.
ITSAT 2020 Tie-Breaker Criteria
In case of two or more candidates obtain equal marks in the entrance exam, their tie is resolved by applying the following methods:
- Candidate with higher scores in maths and physics are placed higher in the merit.
- If the tie is still not resolved, candidate with higher score in english and logical reasoning in ATIT are given higher preference.
- If the tie still persists, then the total marks in PCM in Class 12th will be taken into consideration.

ITSAT 2020 Seat Allotment Process
After the merit list is declared, the institute releases a notification for online seat allotment process. In this process, a candidate is allotted a branch of program as per their prefrence submitte in the application form.
Sliding operation: When a candidate is given admission to a lower preferred program, they are kept on the waiting list for their higher preferred programs until all admissions for 1st semester of the academic year are completed. In case any vacancy arises due to non-acceptance of the admission offer will be filled by offering the vacant seat to the next candidate in the order of merit and this process is called ‘Sliding-Up’.
