JECRC University Admission Criteria 2017

B.Tech

Pass in Senior Secondary Examination (10+2) with minimum 60% marks in aggregate in all subjects with pass in English, Physics & Mathematics and one subject out of Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology and Computer Science from a recognised Board of School Education or equivalent. 5% relaxation shall be permissible to the candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ State OBC (Non-creamy layer) and Women category.

B.Tech LE

  • Passed Diploma examination from an AICTE approved Institution; with at least 50% marks. 5% relaxation shall be permissible to the candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ State OBC (Non-creamy layer) and Women category in appropriate branch of Engineering / Technology.
  • Passed B.Sc Degree from a recognized University as defined by UGC, with at least 50% marks. 5% relaxation shall be permissible to the candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ State OBC (Non-creamy layer) and Women category and passed 10+2 examination with mathematics as a subject.
  • Provided that in case of students belonging to B. Sc. Stream, shall clear the subjects of Engineering Graphics/Engineering Drawing and Engineering Mechanics of the first year Engineering program along with the second year subjects.

BCA

Pass in Senior Secondary Examination (10+2) with minimum 50% marks in aggregate in all subjects with pass in English from a recognised Board of School Education or equivalent. 5% relaxation shall be permissible to the candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ State OBC (Non-creamy layer) and Women category.

M.Tech

Branches Minimum Eligibility Criteria
CAD/CAM 55% aggregate marks in Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Production / Manufacturing Engineering / Technology from a UGC recognised University or equivalent. 5% relaxation shall be permissible to the candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ State OBC (Non-creamy layer) and Women category.
Computer Engg. With specialisation in Computer Networks & Security/ Software Engg 55% aggregate marks in Bachelor Degree in Computer Engineering / Information Technology / MCA from a UGC recognised University or equivalent. 5% relaxation shall be permissible to the candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ State OBC (Non-creamy layer) and Women category.
Electronics Engg. With specialisation in VLSI & Embedded System/ Communication System 55% aggregate marks in Bachelor Degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering from a UGC recognised University or equivalent. 5% relaxation shall be permissible to the candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ State OBC (Non-creamy layer) and Women category.
Power System & Electrical Drives 55% aggregate marks in Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering from a UGC recognised University or equivalent. 5% relaxation shall be permissible to the candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ State OBC (Non-creamy layer) and Women category.
Civil Engg. With specialisation in Structural Engineering 55% aggregate marks in Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering from a UGC recognised University or equivalent. 5% relaxation shall be permissible to the candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ State OBC (Non-creamy layer) and Women category.

MCA

Minimum 50% Marks in Bachelor Degree from a UGC recognised University with Mathematics either at Bachelor level or 10+2 level. 5% relaxation shall be permissible to the candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ State OBC (Non-creamy layer) and Women category.

MCA LE

Minimum 50% Marks in Bachelor Degree in Computer Applications or B. Sc. – Computer Science / Information Technology from a UGC recognised University. 5% relaxation shall be permissible to the candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ State OBC (Non-creamy layer) and Women category.

B.Sc

M.Sc

Branches Minimum Eligibility Criteria
M.Sc. – Biotechnology Minimum 50% Marks in Bachelor of Science of three year duration with pass in Biotechnolgoy/Botany/Zoology and English from a UGC recognised University or equivalent. 5% relaxation shall be permissible to the candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ State OBC (Non-creamy layer) and Women category.
M.Sc. – Microbiology Minimum 50% Marks in Bachelor of Science of three year duration with pass in Botany/ Zoology/ Microbiology/ Biotechnology and English from a UGC recognised University or equivalent. 5% relaxation shall be permissible to the candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ State OBC (Non-creamy layer) and Women category.
M.Sc. – Physics Minimum 50% Marks in Bachelor of Science of three year duration with pass in Physics and English from a UGC recognised University or equivalent. 5% relaxation shall be permissible to the candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ State OBC (Non-creamy layer) and Women category.
M.Sc. – Chemistry Minimum 50% Marks in Bachelor of Science of three year duration with pass in Chemistry and English from a UGC recognised University or equivalent. 5% relaxation shall be permissible to the candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ State OBC (Non-creamy layer) and Women category.
M.Sc. – Mathematics Minimum 50% Marks in Bachelor of Science of three year duration with pass in Maths and English from a UGC recognised University or equivalent. 5% relaxation shall be permissible to the candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ State OBC (Non-creamy layer) and Women category.

B.Sc. / BBA / B.Com / BA and Bachelor of Law Hons

Minimum 50% Marks in 10+2 examination from CBSE or equivalent. 5% relaxation shall be permissible to the candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ State OBC (Non-creamy layer) and Women category.

LLM

Minimum 55% Marks in Bachelor Degree of three duration from a UGC recognised University or equivalent. 5% relaxation shall be permissible to the candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ State OBC (Non-creamy layer) and Women category.
