JEE Advanced AAT 2019 – As we all know that, JEE Advanced is going to conducted by IIT Roorkee for IIT admission to various undergraduate engineering, architecture and integrated programmes, every year. JEE Advanced AAT 2019, also known as JEE Advanced Architecture Aptitude Test is conducted under the supervision of one IIT, every year. This year, it is conducted by IIT Roorkee. Although last year, IIT Madras was the conducting body of JEE Advanced AAT 2019. Across all the 23 IITs, only IIT Roorkee and IIT Kharagpur offer Bachelors of Architecture course for a duration of 5 years. Every year, in the month of June, the authorities invite applications from eligible candidates in online mode over the official website of JEE Advanced. JEE Advanced AAT 2019
This paper will be conducted for a duration of 3 hours across seven zonal coordinating IITs. And all those candidates who will be able to complete the application process, within the stipulated time period will be able to appear for JEE Advanced AAT 2019. JEE Advanced AAT 2019 Application Form
As per the released dates, interested candidates will be able to apply online over the online portal for AAT. Only those candidates who have appeared for JEE Advanced 2019 will be eligible to appear for AAT 2019. The whole registration or application process is said to commence in the month of June, in online mode for this offline architecture exam. Once a candidate misses, the last date he or she won’t be eligible to apply for JEE Advanced AAT 2019. Broadly, these are the steps a candidate will be required to take in order to complete the application process.
Step 1 – Candidates will be provided the direct link to apply for JEE Advanced AAT 2019 on this page after its activation. Start the registration process by clicking that.
Step 2 – After getting yourself registered, a candidate will be asked to select the exam center preference, from the available options. These are the expected list of exam centers, prepared on the basis of last year’s data. In case of any addition or reduction in the number of exam centers, we will be updating this page accordingly.
Step 3 – Fill in all the other details and upload the documents of the specified measurement.
Step 4 – Keeping in mind the last date of submitting the application, a candidate can submit their JEE Advanced AAT 2019 application forms.
JEE Advanced AAT 2019 Admit Card
All those candidates who will be submitting their JEE Advanced AAT 2019 application form will be issued the admit cards for the exam. Note that, no candidate will be issued a separate JEE Advanced AAT 2019 Admit Card, rather they will require to carry their JEE Advanced 2019 admit card. No candidate will be allowed to enter the exam hall without a valid admit card. That is why it was previously recommended to store their JEE Advanced 2019 admit cards even after having appeared for the exam.
JEE Advanced AAT 2019 Exam Pattern
JEE Advanced AAT 2019 will have questions coming from architecture related subjects. JEE Advanced AAT 2019 will be conducted for a duration of 3 hours in offline mode i.e the test will be pen and paper-based one. The questions in the exam need to be attempted in English language and will be coming from Architecture awareness, Three-dimensional perception, Freehand drawing and Imagination, and aesthetic sensitivity sections. All the applicants will be requested to carry their own stationery and coloring box on the day of the exam.
JEE Advanced AAT 2019 Syllabus
These are the list of important topics of JEE Advanced AAT 2019 Syllabus, that one needs to prepare from these 4 sections -Architecture awareness, Three-dimensional perception, Freehand drawing and Imagination, and aesthetic sensitivity.
|Architectural awareness||General interest and awareness of famous architectural creations – both national and international, places and personalities (architects, designers, etc.) in the related domain.|
|Imagination and aesthetic sensitivity||Composition exercise with given elements. Context mapping. Creativity check through innovative uncommon test with familiar objects. Sense of colour grouping or application.|
|Three‐dimensional perception||Understanding and appreciation of three-dimensional forms with building elements, colour, volume and orientation. Visualization through structuring objects in memory.|
|Freehand drawing||This would comprise of simple drawing depicting the total object in its right form and proportion, surface texture, relative location and details of its component parts in appropriate scale. Common domestic or day-to-day life usable objects like furniture, equipment, etc., from memory.|
|Geometrical drawing||Exercises in geometrical drawing containing lines, angles, triangles, quadrilaterals, polygons, circles, etc. Study of plan (top view), elevation (front or side views) of simple solid objects like prisms, cones, cylinders, cubes, splayed surface holders, etc.|
JEE Advanced AAT 2019 Result
By the third week of June, every year JEE Advanced AAT 2019 Results are announced. The authorities will be releasing the results over the official website i.e jeeadv.ac.in. There will be no provision for rechecking and revaluation available for its candidates as the paper will be checked with extreme care by experts on board. The authorities after having declared the result would not be releasing separate category wise merit lists. Rather cut off will be released in Joint Implementation Committee of JEE (Advanced) 2019, on the basis of which the seats will be allotted.
JEE Advanced AAT 2019 Seat Intake
After having qualified for JEE Advanced AAT 2019, a candidate will be allotted B.Arch courses in IIT Kharagpur and IIT Roorkee. Last year, these number of seats were available for candidates belonging to various categories. Seats for this year has not yet been released.
