The forms is provided online and the last date to submit it is May 02, 2017. The candidates can also able to submit application form of JEE Advanced 2017 with late fee, from May 02 to 04, 2017. The application form of JEE Advanced 2017 is released for those 2,20,000 JEE Main qualifiers, who will fufil the eligibility criteria of JEE Advanced as well. The forms is uploaded on jeeadv.ac.in but for the ease of readers, the direct link to fill it is also provided on this page.

Note: –

  1. Eligible candidates can register online on the portal http://jeeadv.nic.in with late fee till 18:00 hours IST on 04-May-2017.
  2. Candidates who complete Step-2 of the Registration process by 5 PM of 2nd May will not be required to pay late fee (till 6 PM of 4th May, 2017).
  3. If any OBC-NCL candidate is receiving the following information while registration “You are out of the process as your JEE(Main) Paper-1 score does not match the Cutoff”, he/she may please approach JEE Office, IIT Madras with his/her JEE(Main) Roll No and Mobile No.”

Filling of Form with Late Fee – For the first time IITs are providing opportunity to submit the form after the lapse of the deadline. However, in this case, candidates will have to pay late fee amount over the actual fee. Hence, it is advised that candidates remember the application deadlines, which are mentioned below:

JEE Advanced 2017 Application Form Fee

The fee amount for JEE Advanced 2017, along with the late fee, is as given below:

Registration fee payments in INDIA

  1. Net banking of all banks
  2. Only SBI Debit Cards of (VISA/ MASTER) and
  3. E-Challan of SBI are allowed payment options. E-Challan can be downloaded best in the following browsers (Internet explorer, Mozilla firefox and Safari). SBI-Rupay debit cards will not work. SBI- Maestro Debit cards will not work.

How to Apply for JEE Advanced 2017

To apply for the JEE Advanced 2017, the candidates have to follow the below mentioned steps:


Documents To JEE Advanced Application Form 2017

The documents that the candidates have to submit during the Stage-3 of form filling are:

For all candidates:

  • Class X Certificate/Birth Certificate
  • Class XII Certificates
  • If the name is not same as in the Class X certificate, gazette notification showing the change of name.

For OBC-NCL Category:

  • OBC-NCL certificate (FORM-OBC-NCL)

Note: The certificate should have been issued after April 01, 2017, according to the guidelines of Government of India.

For SC or ST Category:

  • Caste (for SC) or tribe (for ST) certificate (FORM-SC/ST).

For PwD Category:

  • Physical Disability certificate, which should have been issued by the notified medical authority.
  • Dyslexic candidate have to submit FORM-DYSLEXIC 1 and 2

Note: Every IITs may constitute a medical board at the time of admission to test the candidate’s level of disability.

Candidates Seeking Scribe Service:

  • Request letter to the Chairman of the respective zonal IIT (FORM-SCRIBE).

Candidates Seeking DS Category Admission:

  • Certificate (FORM-DS) issued by a competent authority in the Directorate of Resettlement and Rehabilitation, New Delhi under the Ministry of Defence or the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India.

For PIO/OCI Card holders:

  • PIO card or OCI certificate, as applicable. Foreign Candidates may go to the link http://www.jeeadv.ac.in/pdf/foreign.pdf.

Candidates whose Class XII examination Board is outside India:

  • A certificate from the Association of Indian Universities to the effect that the examination qualified by the candidates is equivalent to the Class XII examination.

List of some possible errors in scanned files (i.e. NOT accepted files)

Errors in Photograph:

  • ‘Mobile Selfie’ is not acceptable.
  • ‘Dark background’ is not acceptable.
  • ‘Face is less than 70-80%’ is not acceptable.
  • ‘Full frontal (face) view is absent’ is not acceptable.
  • ‘Photo wearing hat, cap, scarf and sunglasses’ is not acceptable.
  • ‘Poor resolution/ No clarity’ is not acceptable.

Errors in Signature:

  • ‘Background inappriopiate’ is not acceptable.
  • ‘Poor resolution/ No clarity’ is not acceptable.
  • ‘signature with ALL CAPITAL letters’ is not acceptable.

Errors in Thumb impression:

  • ‘Background inappriopiate’ is not acceptable.
  • ‘Poor resolution/ No clarity’ is not acceptable.
  • ‘Smudged impression’ is not acceptable.

Errors in Certificates:

  • Name of the candidate does not match with that in the certificate’ is not acceptable.
  • Official seal/signature of competent authority is missing’ is not acceptable.
  • Poor resolution/ No clarity’ is not acceptable.
