IIT JEE Advanced 2018 Application Form – Joint Engineering Entrance Examination Advanced (JEE) 2018 Application Form will start from last week of April 2018 or first week of May 2018. Candidates who will qualify the JEE Main 2018 can register for JEE Advanced. Last date for registration will be in May 2018. Candidates can register for JEE Advanced 2018 on JEE Advanced registration website portal where admit card of IIT JEE Advanced 2018 is also going to be released. Registration can be done through online mode only.

Apply in order to appear for JEE Advanced 2018. The IITs offer admission into undergraduate courses through JEE (Advanced), leading to a Bachelor’s, Integrated Master’s or Bachelor‐Master Dual Degree in Engineering, Sciences, Architecture, or Pharmaceutics.

Significance of JEE Advanced 2018 Application Form Submission
After the JEE Main results are announced, the next step for admission into IITs is through JEE Advanced. Qualified candidates can register for JEE Advanced 2018 on its official website. The registration shall begin from April 2018 and last date for registration is May 2018. Candidates will have to register online only. Registration submitted by post/courier will not be accepted. Carefully read all the instructions carefully before filling in details for the registration.
Candidates have to log in to registration web portal for JEE Advanced 2018, fill in all the details as required, then upload scanned copies of the documents as specified, and finally pay the application charges.
The registration fees is non refundable. The fee is expected to be payable by either of these modes:

Are you eligible to fill JEE Advanced 2018 Application Form?
Candidates need to fulfil the given criterion in order to register for JEE Advanced 2018. You may check the eligibility criteria as given below:
- Performance in JEE Main 2018: Candidates should be among the top (including all categories) by scoring positive marks in Paper‐1 of JEE (Main) 2018.
- Age Limit: Should have been born on or after October 1, 1993. Five years relaxation will be given to SC, ST and PwD candidates.
- Number of attempts: You can attempt for JEE (Advanced) examination a maximum of two times in consecutive years.
- A candidate should have appeared for the Class XII (or equivalent) examination.
- A candidate should have NOT been admitted in an IIT irrespective of whether or not he/she continued in the program OR whose admission at IITs were cancelled are also NOT eligible to appear for JEE (Advanced) 2018.
Schedule of JEE Advanced Examination
The JEE Advanced examination will consist of two papers- Paper 1 and Paper 2. Both the papers will be of 3 hours. It is compulsory for candidates to appear for both the exams. The questions will be asked from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and the the question paper will be objective type i.e., multiple choice questions.
There will be negative marking for every wrong answer. The question paper will be in English or Hindi. You will need to choose the medium of the question paper at the time of registration for JEE Advanced 2018.
JEE Advanced Admit Card 2018
JEE Advanced 2018 Admit Card will be available on the official website of JEE Advanced. The admit card will be issued to those candidates who will successfully register for JEE Advanced 2018. The admit will be released few weeks before the commencement of entrance examination. It is necessary for students to bring their admit card at the time of examination. No candidate will be allowed to sit for the entrance examination without the admit card.
The admit card will contain the following details like Name and Roll Number of the candidate for JEE Advanced (2018), Photograph, Signature, Date of Birth, Address, language of the question paper and category. Check if all the above details mentioned in the admit card are correct or not. If any particular of the candidate or any kind of discrepancy is reported in the admit, inform the same to the, Chairman, JEE (Advanced) 2018 of the respective zonal coordinating IIT. in case if the candidate is unable to download the admit card, contact the same.also keep admit card safe with yourself as it may be required at different stages of admission process.
The result for JEE Advanced will be published on its official website. A category wise All India rank will be released on JEE Advanced official website. Candidates can check their result by entering details like JEE (Advanced) Application Number and Date of Birth.
Selection procedure for JEE Advanced 2018
The candidates qualified for JEE Advanced, after the result is out, need to satisfy the following two selection criteria in order to secure their admission
- Class 12th passed with 75% marks aggregate. For SC/ST/PwD candidates aggregate marks will be 65%.
- Must be within category-wise top 20 percentile of successful candidates in their respective class 12th Board examination (or its equivalent examination)
Clearing JEE Advanced, filling of choices or appearing in joint seat allocation process does not however, confirm your admission. The admission will depend on the number seats available during various round of seat allocation.
JEE Advanced 2018 Rank Lists
On the basis of aggregate marks secured by a candidate in JEE(Advanced) 2018, will form the basis for preparing rank list. The marks obtained by a candidate in Physics in JEE Advanced 2018 will be equal to the marks scored in Physics part of Paper 1 plus the marks scored in Physics part of Paper 2. Same goes for calculating marks obtained in Chemistry and Mathematics. If two or more candidates score the same aggregate marks, then the preference will be given to the candidate which have scored higher marks in Mathematics.if this also doesn’t break the tie then the preference will be given to him/her who would have scored higher marks in Physics. If this even doesn’t break the tie, same rank will be given.

JEE (Advanced) 2018 JoSAA
Candidates who will be qualified after the JEE Advanced result is out, will have to appear for Joint Seat Allocation Counselling (JoSAA). The seats for admission into IITs, NITs, IIITs and other government funded colleges will be allocated through JoSAA. The schedule for seat allocation will be issued separately by JoSAA. It is mandatory for students to appear in person in joint seat allocation process.
