Physics: It has been seen that Physics was difficult. The major portion of Questions was from Mechanics in the physics section. Question from modulation was there but was complex. No question was there from optics in the Physics section. Question from class 11th mechanics was more. Question from the 12th class was more in the physics section.

JEE Main 2019 Student Reaction for Shift 2

  • If we see overall then, 45% of questions were more from class 11th and rest was from 12th standard.
  • Mock test was very helpful for the students.
  • The Exam conducted by NTA was conceptually based.
  • According to one of the student, the exam was easy overall.
  • Some students have said that the questions from class 11th Mechanics were more.
  • More question was seen in the physics section from 12th class.
  • As per the students who have appeared for the examination, Physics was tough; chemistry was easy; Mathematics was moderate.

JEE Main 2019 Student Reaction for Shift 1

  • More question was asked from class 12th in the JEE Main Paper.
  • Maths was very lengthy and time-consuming.
  • Questions in maths were from NCERT.
  • Students have also said that paper conducted by CBSE used to be easy.
  • Students have said that Maths was moderate, physics was tough and chemistry was easy
  • Also, the question has been also repeated from sample papers in mathematics.
  • Overall the shift 1 paper was moderate.
  • As per the reaction of students, chemistry was easy, maths was easy, time management was the problem, physics was tough.

JEE Main 11 Jan 2019 Morning Shift Analysis by Career Point

Previous Year JEE Main Exam Analysis by Coaching Institutes

Till the time, the JEE Main 2019 Analysis is released by the Coaching Institutes, the candidates can check the last year analysis.

Analysis by FIITJEE: As, per the Institute, the JEE Main paper was of overall Moderate difficulty level. Chemistry was slightly difficult. The paper was balanced and was set from CBSE syllabus of Class XI & XII.

JEE Main Analysis by Sri Chaitanya: As per the analysis published by Sri Chaitanya, Chemistry was difficult last year and the easiest paper as per them was Mathematics. Physics was of Moderate difficult level. The number of difficult question in Chemistry was 7 and in Physics, it was 2. There were no difficult questions in Mathematics as per Sri Chaitanya.
