JEE Main 2019 Hall Ticket – National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the JEE Main Hall Ticket for April exam at jeemain.nic.in on March 21, 2019, at 12:11 AM. It is available for download on the Candidates’ Login, hence, you require Application Number and Password to download it. The JEE Main 2019 Admit Card Download is available until the exam day. The candidates have to carry the printed copy of the Hall Ticket with a valid Id proof and passport sized photo. For more details read below.

How To Download The JEE Main 2019 Hall Ticket?

To download the JEE Main 2019 Hall Ticket the candidates have to, first of all, be ready with the details they need to enter the login and get the hall ticket. Below are the steps to get the JEE Main 2019 Hall Ticket.

Step 1: Click on the direct link given on this page above, or visit the official website, jeemain.nic.in. The window opens where you get 2 options. Either to download the admit card using the application number or password or via application number and date of birth.

Step 2: Login using any one method as shown below in the below points:

  • Logging in using the application number and password-

  • Logging in using the application number and date of birth-

Step 3: On using any one method the dashboard of the candidates opens, where they need to find the download admit card link. On clicking the link the hall ticket appears on the screen.

Step 4: Check the details on the admit card and download the same.

Step 5: Take a print of the Hall Ticket (colour print preferred). The candidates have to carry the hard copy of the hall ticket in the exam centres. Therefore, make sure the print out is taken.

Forgot JEE Main 2019 Application Number And Password?

  • VITEEE 2021 Application

It might be possible that the candidates forget the JEE Main 2019 application number and password. However, these details can be easily retrieved using the option of “I can’t access my account?” This option is available on the login screen.

It is mandatory to have both the application number to get the JEE Main 2019 Hall Ticket. However, if you don’t have the password you can use the date of birth instead to log in.

Let us check the steps below to get back the application number and password:

  • Click on the link on the login page that says “I can’t access my account?” as shown in the image below:

  • On doing so in the next age the candidates will be asked to choose what they wish to retrieve the application number or the password, select any one option as shown below:

  • If you select the “I forgot my Password” option then the following window open with the 3 options as shown in the image below. Select any one option to get the password back.

  • If you wish to retrieve the application number the following window opens on the screen:

Using the options the candidates have to get their application number or password back. The candidates must keep the application number safe until the declaration of the result.

Candidates will see the following details in their admit card. It is advised to all the eligible candidates to check the details mentioned carefully.

  1. Roll Number
  2. Candidate’s Name
  3. Application Number
  4. The language of the paper
  5. Gender
  6. PWD status of the candidate
  7. Father’s Name
  8. Name of the Course
  9. Date of birth
  10. Category
  11. State of Eligibility
  12. Photograph, and Signature of the candidate
  13. Parent’s Signature
  14. Address of the test centre
  15. General Instructions for the candidate

Documents to carry at the JEE Main 2019 Exam Centre

Those candidates who will be appearing for the JEE Main 2019 need to carry the following list of documents on the day of the test. It is mandatory that the students should carry the following documents on the day of the examination. No candidate is allowed at the exam hall in the absence of these documents.

  • A printed copy of JEE Main 2019 Hall Ticket
  • One passport size photograph (same as uploaded on the Online Application Form)
  • A  valid id proof such as – PAN card/ Driving License/ Voter ID/ Passport/ Aadhaar Card (With photograph)/ Aadhaar Enrolment No/ Ration Card.
  • Candidates under PwD category must bring a PwD certificate issued by the Competent Authority, if applicable.

What to Do In Case You Are Unable To Download JEE Main 2019 Hall Ticket?

NTA has already mentioned in the 2019 Information Brochure that in case if any candidates are unable to download the admit card from the official website then he/she can approach the Help Line between 10:00 AM to 05:00 PM for general facilitation from December 12 to 23, 2018.

The JEE Main 2019 is going to be held in two shifts and the candidates can check the schedule for JEE Main 2019 from the table below.

JEE Main Hall Ticket 2019 FAQs

Q. My name is misspelt in the JEE Main 2019 Hall Ticket. What should I do?
A. After downloading the JEE Main Hall Ticket, the students should verify that the details and the images printed on it are correct or not. If there is any error or discrepancy in it, then you should contact the concerned authorities regarding this. The details of contacting the authorities are given above.

Q. I had submitted my Application Form for JEE Main 2019, but I am not able to download my JEE Main 2019 Admit Card. Why is that and whom should I contact to regarding this?
A. The NTA issues the Hall Ticket for JEE Main 2019 to only those candidates have successfully submitted their application form. The exam conducting has mentioned in its information brochure that “No Admit Card shall be issued to the candidates whose Applications are found to be incomplete for any reasons (including indistinct/ doubtful photographs/unsigned Applications) or who do not fulfil the eligibility criteria for the examination“. Hence if you had any of such issue, then you shall not be issued the Admit Card, however, you can also contact the concerned authorities regarding this.

Q. Do I need to take a Color Print out or Black and white print out is also acceptable?
A. It is nowhere mentioned in its Information Brochure that a candidate needs to carry a colour or Black and white print out. However, it is advised that you should take a colour print out of the JEE Main 2019 Hall Ticket as the details and the images printed on it will be then clearly visible.

Q. Is there a dress code which I need to follow for the test centre?
A. The NTA has not imposed any specific dress code for the candidates who will be appearing for JEE Main 2019. However, to make the frisking process easy for the candidate and to avoid any confusion in the last minute. you can take a look at the few pointers below:

    • For the female candidates, it is advisable to wear anything that is comfortable
    • Avoid a lot of pockets in your outfit.
    • Wear trousers or pants will less/ no pocket
    • Boys can wear full or half sleeves t-shirts/trousers as per their need
