JEE Main 2020 Admit Card
The admit card of JEE Main 2020 is only released online, for the registered candidates. To download it, candidates need to login by entering application number and date of birth / password. Exam date, center, time, etc is mentioned in the hall ticket. On the exam day, candidates have to carry admit card of JEE Main 2020 and few documents with it. How to Download JEE Main 2020 Admit Card?
Candidates can only download JEE Main 2020 admit card from the JEE Main candidate’s login. The step by step process to do so is as follows:

Step 1: First of all, the candidates need to click on the link available on this page.
Step 2: On clicking the link, candidates gets 2 options for:
- Download JEE Main 2020 admit card through application number and password.
- Download JEE Main 2020 admit card through application number and date of birth.

Step 3: After this, the candidates need to selection one option.
If the selected option is “Through application number and password”, then a new window opens. Candidates can login using their JEE Main 2020 application number and password to access the link for JEE Main 2020 admit card.

On the other hand, if candidates select second option for “Through application number and date of birth” then window as shown below opens. Candidates can access it by entering application number and date of birth as shown in the image below:

Step 4: After entering the details, the candidates need to click on the blue “Sign In” button.
Step 5: Following the step above, the dashboard opens. Towards the end, there is a blue button for ‘Download Admit Card’. Click on it.

Step 6: On clicking the button, the admit card of JEE Main 2020 is automatically downloaded.
The admit card is downloaded as pdf. Candidates must secure a soft copy of it, as well as, produce hard copy for the admit card. On the exam day, candidate need to carry print copy of the hall ticket.
What To Do If JEE Main 2020 Admit Card Has Errors / Discrepancy?
If the admit card of JEE Main 2020 issued do not match the details as provided in the application form of JEE Main 2020, then the candidates need to report it to NTA. To do so contact NTA as per the details below:

What To Do If JEE Main 2020 Admit Card is Not Issued / Unable to Download?
f the admit card is not issued, then there can be any one of the following reasons behind it:
- The website starts to work slow
- Internet connectivity issue
- Session time out
- Candidates did not pay the application fee on time.
- Form was rejected
If the above 1, 2, 3 points are applicable then the issue shall resolve soon after a few minutes. If the case is as points 4 and 5 then the candidates can reach NTA and get the issue cleared or raise a query using the query redressal system under the respective logins of the students.

How to use the Query Redressal System (QRS)?
To reach NTA for any query related to JEE Main 2020 admit card, the candidates can use the Query Redressal System (QRS), the steps to use it is given below.
Step 1 – Access JEE Main 2020 login and go to ‘Register Query’ option.

Step 2 – After clicking the link above, click on ‘Query Type’ and you will get to see following queries:
- Request for exam city change after display of admit card.
- Mistake in identification type / name / mother name / father name / DoB / state of residence / category / PwD.
- Change of subject / course / paper.
- Not able to upload photo / signature.
- Wrong photograph / signature uploaded
- Corresponding / distance education eligibility issue.
- One year PG diploma eligibility issue.
- Double / multiple payment issue
- Fee paid but not updated / confirmation page not downloaded.
- Verification of e-mail id and Mobile number.
- Subject / course / paper not found in subject / course / paper list.
- Multiple / duplicate application form.
- Photograph . signature rejected in admin.
- Server error / server are temporarily out of service.
- Other.

Step 3 – After selecting any of the option above, the candidates need to add description and attachment.
Step 4 – When the steps above are done, click on the blue “submit” button.
What to Carry With JEE Main 2020 Admit Card?
On the day of the exam candidates have to carry the following items with them in addition to the JEE Main 2020 admit card:
1 passport size photograph
- Same as the one uploaded in the application form of JEE Main 2020.
- It has to be pasted in the attendance sheet, at the center.
A valid authorized photo id proof
- It must be original and must be valid.
- Valid id can be PAN card / e-aadhaar card / aadhaar card / voter id card / passport / ration card / class 12 admit card / bank passport
JEE Main 2020 aspirants can carry any of the id cards above. However, it should have a photograph of the candidates.
Only for B.Arch / B.Plan candidates
- Carry your own pencils, geometry set, eraser, colour pencils / crayons.
- Water colours are not allowed.
PwD certificate
- This is only mandatory for PwD candidates seeking undertaking of the scribe
- It should have been issued by an authorized medical officer.
What Not to Carry at JEE Main 2020 Exam Hall?
Apart from the things mentioned above, the candidates are not supposed to carry any other item to the exam hall with JEE Main 2020 admit card. The items listed below are banned from the exam hall.

JEE Main 2020 Exam Centre Instructions Specific to COVID-19
Since the exam is being held amidst the global pandemic of COVID-19 and we are co existing with the virus for the upcoming more months, students have to take their safety in their own hands.
Here are some safety measures to follow on the exam day of JEE Main 2020:

Wear a mask all the time and carry a few extras with you.

Keep a pocket hand sanitizer with you. If it is not allowed inside then the center might make arrangements for sanitizers on their behalf. Keep sanitizing hand on a regular interval.
Is There any Dress code in JEE Main 2020?
No like NEET, NTA has not specified any dress code for JEE Main 2020. However, candidates can check below some guidelines to follow at the centre:
- Avoid wearing watches, sunglasses, scarfs, caps, etc
- Do not wear clothes with too many pockets
- Do not carry bags, pouches, etc
- Do not wear clothes with too many layers, it might cause suspicion

JEE Main 2020 Exam General Instructions
Few important instructions which the candidates must know about JEE Main 2020 admit card and the exam are as follows:
- Reach JEE Main 2020 exam center at a time so that the checking and frisking can be done properly.
- Candidates will not be allowed to enter the exam hall after 9:00 a.m / 2:00 p.m.
- At the exam center, candidates get a seat indicating their roll number. Candidate must sit in their seat only.
- In the exam hall, candidates have to fill needed details in the attendance sheet.
- Candidates also have to paste passport size photo and thumb impression in the sheet. Both should be done neatly.
- At the exam hall, candidates will get pen / pencil and paper. Candidates need to write their name and roll number on the sheet. These items are to be returned after the exam, before leaving the exam hall.
- During the exam, candidates might have to show admit cards multiple times.
- Candidates cannot leave the exam hall during the examination.

JEE Main 2020 Exam Pattern
Now that we know all about JEE Main 2020 admit card, it is time to have a look at the exam pattern. The pattern of JEE Main 2020 changed drastically. Few crucial things to note are:
- NVTs type questions were introduced.
- Instead of Paper 1 and 2. Now, there are B.Tech / B.E paper, B.Arch Paper, and B.Plan paper.
- Number of question in each paper is different.
What is similar is that still JEE Main is a 3 hour exam which is only held in computer based mode. The question paper is provided in the English, Hindi, and Gujarati language, depending on the choice for the language submitted in the application form.
Other than this, as per the exam pattern of JEE Main, each question in the exam is for 4 marks, and negative marking in the exam is of 1 mark. However, there is no negative marking in NVTs. The paper wise exam pattern is given below:

JEE Main 2020 Last Minute Revision Tips
Here are some last minute tips for JEE Main 2020:
Focus on strengths: Do not fidget or get tensed on what has been left or what you cannot do. Rather focus all the energy and concentration on what you know, what you are good at, and what are your strengths. It is the time to feel positive and thus keep the mind relaxed.
Do not start anything new: In the last minute do start with any new concept. Just repeat the already studied chapters and topics. Practice more and more past question papers and mocktest to work on speed and accuracy.
Reach out: If any thing is troubling you related to syllabus or anything else. reach out to parents, seniors or teachers and get it solved. Do not keep it in and waste time overthinking about it.
Plan: Plan what you are going to do on the exam day. What type of question will you attempt first and what are you going to do if you cannot solve a question. Prepare your exam day kit like carrying the JEE Main 2020 admit card, ID card, COVID-19 precautions, and other documents needed.
Do not pull an overnighter: 3-4 days before the exam try to get enough sleep. Your brain needs rest too. Thus, do not overwork. Reduce the study time by an hour or so and dedicate that time for relaxation activities.
About JEE Main 2020
JEE Main stands for Joint Entrance Examination Main. It is one of the biggest engineering entrance examinations of India. NTA conducts it for admission of candidates in NITs, IIITs, CFTIs, etc., in B.Tech / B.E / B.Arch / B.Plan courses. Only eligible 10+2 qualified / appearing candidates can apply for the exam.

Ans : JEE Main 2020 will be Computer Based Test and it will be conducted through Online mode only. However, the drawing section in the B.Arch paper is to be attempted in the pen and paper mode.
Ans : No. Candidates are not allowed to carry calculators or any other electronic device in the examination centre.
Ans : No. NTA is not responsible for sending the admit card via emails or post. The candidates need to download their admit card from jeemain.nic.in only.
Ans : First of all check if your Internet connection is strong. If not, then verify your login credentials, if you still cannot access your admit card, kindly contact the NTA office.
Ans : Kindly contact the NTA officials regarding discrepancies in the Admit Card details. However if the personal details were wrongly filled during the Application process, NTA will not be able to help the candidate and the exam will be forfeited.
Ans : The candidates must carry a colored print of their Admit cards along with a photo Id proof and a passport size photograph (the same as submitted during the time of form filling).
