1. Take the official JEE Main mock test.
National Testing Agency runs the website https://nta.ac.in/Quiz specifically for all its mock tests. Now the interesting thing is that the official mock test is important to familiarize with the type of exam, and not the level of exam. What this means is, that you will understand some key aspects of the online Joint Entrance Examination Mains; like: Will I be able to switch between the sections? How do I know which question I have answered and which ones I have not? What does marked for review mean? And so on.
On the day of exam, your complete focus should be on the questions. If you take the official mock test beforehand, your mind will not have to waste grey cells in understanding what is going on on the screen.
2. Attempt other unofficial mock tests of JEE Main 2020.
Once you are familiar with the type of exam, it is even better to get a hold of the level of exam. It is relevant to point out here that while there are many paid mock tests available at your coaching centers and otherwise, AglaSem has launched completely free of cost JEE Main 2020 mock tests for you all. The syllabus of JEE Main has been consistent over the years. As a result, the type of questions that get asked in the papers has remained more or less the same, with variations in weightage of questions from chapters and difficulty level. JEE Main and JEE Advanced are quite different from each other in terms of the type of questions and their difficulty level. 6. You can study new topics in this last one week, but avoid it if it is too time consuming.
Teachers recommend that students should not pick up any new subject in the last one week before any exam. However JEE Main 2020 January exam is slightly different because it is before the board exams. You anyhow have to complete your syllabus for your board exams also. So if any new topics is a part of the plan this week, you can do it, but if you feel like it is scaring you too much or is proving to be difficult, then avoid it.

7. Do not look for chapter wise weightage for JEE Main
Students often look for chapter wise weightage for JEE Main exam during their preparation. This used to be useful until the exam became online, and started happening in multiple shifts. Now what happens is that one day the paper will have more questions from one chapter, but fewer from another.
So if you think that there will not be any questions on indefinite integral because it did not come in the JEE question paper a few years ago, you may be proven wrong and your shift may have questions from it. Thus, give equal attention to all topics.
📊 Instead, you can look at the last year’s exam analysis of JEE Main.
8. Decide beforehand which section you wish to attempt first, and plan time.
Would you prefer to attempt physics, chemistry, or maths first? Decide. It is recommended to attempt that section which you are strongest in first, then the one you find a little difficult, and that subject which you find most difficult in the end. Allot yourself a fixed time per section too.
9. Learn to say NO to a question.
All MCQs in JEE Main will carry negative marking. If you are unable to solve a question in time, or are not sure of the answer, move on and do not mark its answer. A mark not lost, is a mark gained.
10. Sleep, eat, and be confident.
If your body is healthy and mind is sound then your preparations will bear better fruits. Have a sleeping schedule that lets you be most alert during your exam time. Eat food that makes you active. Surround yourself with only positive people, and stay away from negative factors.
