JEE Main 2019 Student Reaction for Shift 2

  • Overall Chemistry was easy, physics was tough and maths was moderate.
  • If we see altogether then the paper was tough.
  • More questions were asked from 11th class rather than class 12th.
  • Mathematics was easy but lengthy.
  • Physics was tough and lengthy. Students gave complete 1 hour to physics yet missed a few questions. Also, it was calculation intensive.
  • Maths and chemistry were doable.
  • The shift 2 for JEE Main 09 Jan exam has started at 2:30 pm.

JEE Main 2019 Student Analysis for Shift 1

  • As per the reaction of students, Mathematics was the toughest of all.
  • The JEE Main examination was not lengthy as told by the students.
  • There were direct questions from NCERT. 
  • Physics was moderately difficult but lengthy.
  • If we compare the level of paper as per CBSE and NTA then, the paper conducted by NTA was tough as per the candidates who have appeared in shift 1.
  • Previous year questions were also repeated in the examination.
  • Overall questions in JEE Main exam was more from class 11th compared to class 12th.
  • Students are saying that expected cutoff will vary between 80-90.

JEE Main 2019 Paper 1 Analysis for Physics

The first section of JEE Main 2019 Paper 1 is physics which consist a total of 30 questions with a total of 120 marks. Physics was tough and lengthy. There were no questions from optics. From wave optics, there was one question. Questions from Semiconductors were there. Class 11th mechanics and 12th standard optics and numericals were also there. There were questions from kinetics as well. Most difficult questions were asked from mechanics. Physics was tough if compared to last year’s paper. Less focus was made on the chapters of JEE Advanced.

JEE Main 2019 Paper 1 Analysis for Chemistry

As per the reaction of students, chemistry was doableEnvironmental chemistry question was there. Surface chemistry, metallurgy was missing. Questions from environmental chemistry, solutions were there. Electrochemistry question was there as well.  Also, questions from Biomolecules were also there. Questions from iconic were not there. Overall chemistry was easy.

JEE Main 2019 Paper 1 Analysis for Mathematics

The third section of Paper 1 is mathematics which was easy as compared to shift 1. Questions in maths were formula based. Questions from conic topics were more in mathematics. Also, it was calculative so students found them tricky. The questions from the integration were tough. Weighatge of question from calculus was more. Questions from the binomial theorem, probability, Straight lines, circles were also there. Relation and Function parts question was very difficult in maths. Questions from sequence and series were also there and were quite scoring. Questions from inverse trigonometry were tricky. Questions from limits, continuity, and differentiation questions were there as well.

The first section of JEE Main 2019 Paper 1 is physics that has a total of 30 questions with a total of 120 marks. This question was moderate but lengthy. There were 5 questions from modern physics, 3 questions from Thermodynamics, 2 questions from the wave. The questions in physics were from topics like MOI (Motion of Inertia), magnetism. JEE Main 2019 Paper 1 Analysis for Chemistry

As per the candidates, it is noticed that the chemistry section of JEE Main paper 1 was easy. More question was asked from organic chemistry. There were direct questions from NCERT. The questions were asked from P-block and coordination compounds. No questions were out of syllabus in the examination. JEE Main 2019 Paper 1 Analysis for Mathematics

The third section of Paper 1 is mathematics which was the toughest of all as per the reaction of students. There was no question from statistics. Question-related to function were also there. The level of maths was very high. Two questions were asked from definite. Students got confused with the question of limits. Question form integration was also there. The answer key for JEE Main 2019 can be downloaded from the official website at jeemain.nic.in. To download it, the aspirants need to log in by entering their Application Number and Password.
