JEE Main 2018 Exam Date, Eligibility, Exam Pattern. Get All Details Here

Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will conduct the JEE Main 2018 for the admission to the various Undergraduate (B.E/B.Tech) and Architecture (B.Arch/B.Planning) courses. The JEE Main 2018 entrance examination will be held in the first week of April 2018.Once the examination will be successfully completed then the answer keys will be upload by the JEE Main on its official website i.e. www.jeemain.nic.in. Candidates can check their answer through these given answer keys and can predict their merit/rank according to it.

How to Download Answer Key

Coaching Institutes will upload the JEE Main 2018 answer keys of Paper 1 and Paper 2 for the candidates to check their answers for the questions that will be asked in both the papers. The following steps to download the answer key are:

Step 1 – Candidates will have to login using their application number, date of birth and security pin.

Step 2 – Next, the candidates will have to click on the ‘Answer key’ button.

Step 3 – Now, the candidates will have to select the exam booklet set number from the dropdown.

Step 4 – Candidates will have to click on the ‘View’ button to view the answer keys.

Step 5 – The answer keys will be displayed on the screen and the candidates can check the answers for the examinations.

In case, the candidates will find some wrong answers given in the answer key then he/she will be provided with the option to challenge the JEE Main 2018 answer key.

How to Challenge JEE Main 2018 Answer Key

To file a complaint against the answer key, the candidates will have to go through a procedure which will be as follows:

  • If the candidate will not be satisfied with the answer key then he/she can challenge by entering the ‘Challenge’ button.
  • Next, the candidates will have to select the question booklet number and question number.
  • Now, the answer to the selected question will be displayed on the screen.
  • Candidates will have to enter the claimed answer.
  • Next, the candidates will have to click on the ‘Add to claims list’ button.
  • Candidates will have to submit all the claims on one Click.
  • Lastly, the candidate will have to save all the claims by clicking on the final button.

Challenge Fee – The candidates will have to pay the challenge fees which will be Rs. 1000/- for each question. Candidates will have to pay the fees through Debit/Credit Card, Paytm or SBI Buddy. The fees paid will not be refunded.

JEE Main 2018 Official Answer key will be available on the official website www.jeemain.nic.in. The official answer key will be the final answer key with all the correct answers to the questions that will be asked in the examination. On the basis of the official answer key, the JEE Main 2018 results will be provided to the qualified candidates.

*Note – Challenges claimed by the candidates will be considered by CBSE and the answers given by them will be final and binding on all.

Insofar CBSE has not announced official details of JEE Main 2018 answer key. Information on this page is as per last year brochure and for reference. As soon as JEE Main 2018 information brochure releases, details will be updated here.

  1. What if the question has two answer or all answer in MCQ are wrong, even I had select wrong answer what mark will be given to us?

      If 2 or more answers are right then you have to select most appropriate answer but if 2 or more answers are equally correct then marks will be alloted for all ans. That are right if no abs is correct then it is bonus if you give no answer
