NTA has started the registration process of JEE Main 2020 April exam. The application process started today and will be continuing until March 06, 2020. However fee can be paid until March 07, 2020. This gives all the aspirants of the second attempt one whole month to complete the application process of JEE Main 2020. The registration and application filling website of JEE Main 2020 is jeemain.nta.nic.in.

The candidates have to upload class 12 marksheet or class 12 certificate or class 12 admit card in JPG / JPEG format on the online form.
Application Fee for JEE Main 2020 April Attempt
The payment of the application fee of JEE Main 2020 will depend on the below given factors:
- The number of papers selected
- The category of the candidate
- The exam center selected by the candidate

JEE Main 2020 April exam date: JEE Main 2020 Apr exam will be held on April 05, 07, 08, 09, and 11, 2020. The exams will be held in 2 shifts each day.
How to Apply for JEE Main 2020 April Attempt
The JEE Main 2020 application process will also depend on 2 types of candidates applying for the exam, they are:
- Type A: Candidates who have applied and appeared for the January exam
- Type B: The candidates who have not applied or have applied but have not appeared for the exam
The candidates who belong to type A can follow the below given steps to complete the application process of JEE Main Apr 2020:
Step 1: Login using JEE Main 2020 exam login details from Jan exam, such candidates do not have to register again.
Step 2: Fill the application form, few details are fetched from the Jan exam data. the candidates can fill their choice of paper, exam center and a few more details in the form.
Note:
1. The details of the candidate’s name, mother’s name, father’s name, category, PwD status, gender, date of birth, state code of eligibility comes in drop-down menu, as filled by the candidate during Jan application form. These details can not be edited while applying for the April exam.
2. Images are also uploaded from the Jan application form data. The candidates cannot upload new ones.
Step 3: The candidates have to then make payment to submit the application form using the online mode of payments.
Step 4: Candidates have to then take print of the confirmation page, for reference.
The candidates who belong to type B can follow the below given steps to complete the application process of JEE Main Apr 2020:
Step 1: Fresh applicants have to register first.
Step 2: The next step for them is filling the entire application form. All the blank fields have to be filled with correct and valid data and details.
Step 3: Next the candidates have to upload the scanned images as per the specifications.
Step 4: The final stage is to take make payment of the application fee.
Step 5: The last step is to take print of the confirmation page for reference.
The images that are to be uploaded in the application form must be of the below given specifications:
1. The scanned photo must be of JPG / JPEG format and the size must be between 10 kb–200 kb. The photo must be coloured, black and white photo is also applicable given that it is of good contrast.
2. The scanned image of the signature must be also in JPG / JPEG format of size between 4 kb–30 kb.
3. The scanned image of the class 12 documents must be also in JPG / JPEG format of size between 50 kb – 300 kb.
Last Date to Register for JEE Main 2020 April Exam
NTA is giving a whole month to complete the registration and application form submission process of JEE Main April 2020 exam. The last date to apply for the exam is March 06, 2020 and the fee payment can be completed until March 07, 2020.
However, NTA is also known to extend the deadline to apply for the exam. For the Jan session, the last date to apply for the exam was extended by 10 days. Since last time NTA gave such an opportunity to the candidates of Jan exam, thus it is expected that the candidates of the April exam might as well get such a chance.
