National Testing Agency (NTA) has started the image correction facility for JEE Main April 2020 exam. The window to correct images opened today, on February 12, 2020, at jeemain.nta.nic.in. Candidates who have uploaded photograph, signature, or class 12 documents incorrectly can now correct the discrepancies. The application form correction facility for the rest of the details will be available from March 8 to 12, 2020.

How to Remove Image Discrepancy JEE Main April 2020
The candidates have to follow the below-given steps to correct image problems in JEE Main 2020:
- Visit jeemain.nta.nic.in and click on the “Remove Image Discrepancy JEE (Main) April 2020” button. Candidates can also directly click on the button below.
- On doing so, the login window opens and the candidates have to enter JEE Main application number, password and security pin.
- Inside the dashboard, candidates can check the “edit uploaded images” button. Click on it and correct images in the form.
- On the final upload of the images, make sure to save the changes done.

The correct specification of images to be uploaded in JEE Main 2020 application form is given below:

Who Can Do JEE Main 2020 Image Correction?
Removing of image discrepancy is only allowed to those candidates who have registered for JEE Main 2020 and have uploaded the images. The details to be noted are:
A) Candidates who have yet not paid the application fee: Such candidates can do image corrections, as well as, edit details in the application form. However, once the fee is paid form editing will not be possible.
B) Candidates who paid the application fee: Such candidates can now make changes in the uploaded images only.
Who Needs to Do JEE Main 2020 Image Correction
The candidates who have the below-given discrepancies or errors in their images must do image correction in their images:
A) Candidates who have uploaded blurred photo: If your image is not clear then make sure to upload a new clear image. A clear image means:
- All features of the face are clear and distinct
- No part of the image is blur
- There are no marks in the image
B) Candidates who uploaded photo with accessories: If you have uploaded a photo where you are wearing a scarf, goggles, caps, etc, then make sure to change the image. Also, make sure that the face is not covered with hair strands or by any shadow.
C) Candidates who have done wrong signature: If you have not done the signature in running style or have done it in all CAPS, change the same. Upload an image that has the correct signature format.
D) Those who have uploaded incorrect class 12 mark sheet / certificate / admit card: Change the image and upload a properly scanned image that has readable and distinct details.
JEE Main 2020 April exam will be held on April 05, 07, 08, 09, and 11, 2020. The last date to apply for the exam is March 06, 2020 and the deadline to pay the application fee is March 07, 2020.
