JEECE 2020 – Jharkhand Engineering Entrance Competitive Examination Board (JEECEB) will conduct the JEECE 2020 for admission in various engineering programmes into the colleges of Jharkhand State. It must be noted that JEECE is now conducted only for B.Tech. courses in Agriculture and Dairy Technology. The Admission to other B.Tech Programmes is done through JEE Main score conducted by NTA (National Testing Agency). JEECEB release the admit card for only those who have applied for agriculture and dairy technology. However, Councelling is still done by JEECEB for both JEE Main & JEECE aspirants. Candidates who qualify for the entrance exam will be called for the counselling. Aspirants must check the eligibility criteria before filling the application form.
Interested candidates who are seeking admission in B.E / B. Tech in Agriculture and Dairy Technology courses will have to fill the application form as per schedule date.The candidates are advised to check the complete information before filling the application form.

Residential Criteria: The Candidate must be a citizen of India and Local / Permanent resident of Jharkhand. The applicant will have to submit Permanent or Local Resident Certificate in proper format in original at the time of counselling. Permanent Local Resident Certificate issued by competent authority [Sub Divisional Officer – (Civil) or Dy. Commissioner of Jharkhand State]. The Permanent and Local Resident Certificate issued by any other authority will not be considered and his/her claim will be refused.

Educational Qualification (Engineering): The candidate must have passed I.Sc. / 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry subject and has obtained at least 45 % marks (40% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken together.

Preparation Tips for JEECE 2020
Candidates can check the prepration tips for JEECE 2020. The effective prepration requires alot of hard work and stretagy.
Syllabus: Preparation of every exam begin with understanding the syllabus for the exam. Candidates need to check Exam topics to cover therefore they should check the syllabus. It is important that topics should be categorized in easy, medium and Hard Category so that sufficient time should be given to the hard topics.
Time Table: A detailed timetable with each day schedule is a very good tool for effective Preparation of Exam. Candidates must allot fix time to a particular subject or topic as per the demand and difficulty level.

JEECE 20220 Application Form
JCEE 2020 Application form will be available online at the official website as per the schedule. Only Candidates who is interested in getting admission in B.Tech in Agriculture and Dairy Tecnology should fill the application form from JCECEB website. Aspirants will be able to fill the application form by accessing the “Online Application for J.E.E.C.E. – 2020” on the home page of the Board’s official website. Before applying through online method, get ready with Mark Sheet of Intermediate I.Sc 10+2, Scanned images of Photo, Signature & Left hand thumb impression. Applicants are allowed to submit only one application form. More than one application i.e. multiple applications from an applicant will be rejected. No option can be changed at a later stage after submission of an application.
Application Fee – The given application fee belongs to last year brochure.

- Gen/BC-I/BC-II – Rs. 900/-
After filling the informaion, examination fee can be remitted through Payment Gateway through Credit Card / Debit Card / Net Banking. Service charge will be charged by the Applicant on using Credit Card / Debit Card / Net Banking.
JEECE 2020 Admit Card
Admit card for JEECE 2020 will be available online at the official website. Admit card will be released only after the successful completion of the application form. Candidates who will fill the application form on time will only be able to get their admit card. Admit card contains important details of candidate like candidate’s name, exam center, exam timings etc. Candidates should download their admit card on or before going to the examination and must bring it at the examination hall.
Subject Group for JEECE 2020
P.C.M. Group – An Applicant who will pass or is appearing in I.Sc / 10+2 or equivalent examination with subjects Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and is interested in appearing in the Competitive Examination with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, then he/she will be called PCM Group. He/She will have to give the answer the question of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects in the examination.
JEECE 2020 Exam Pattern
Jharkhand Engineering Entrance Competitive Examination (JEECE 2020) will be conducted as per the schedule. This exam detail is based on as per last. The subject-wise duration of examination are as follows:

Last year question Paper consisted of both English and Hindi language. In case of any ambiguity in translation of any of the questions, its English version shall be treated as final.
JEECE 2020 Scoring and Marking
JEECE 2020 question paper will consisits of 150 Questions and for each question carries 1 mark. For each correct response the Applicant will get 1 mark. For each incorrect response, ¼ marks will be deducted from the total score. No deduction from the total score will, however, be made if no response is indicated for a question in the answer sheet. The Applicants are advised not to attempt such question in the answer sheet if they are not sure of the correct response.
JEECE 2020 Exam Centres
As per the last year the JEECE was conducted at Ranchi, Dhanbad and Jamshedpur. Any changes in exam centres will be updated on this page. The Applicants will have to select two Convenient cities as centres for the Entrance Test.
JEECE Answer Key
Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (JCECEB) conducts JEECE. The board will release the answer keys online i.e., on its official website. The answer keys will be available in a PDF file format. As per the previous year’s trends, JCECEB will release the four sets of Answer Keys for the subjects Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics respectively. Candidates can calculate their scores using the answer keys and have a rough idea about their performance in the entrance examination.
JEECE 2020 Result
The board will prepare the combined merit list as well as category wise merit list of the appeared candidates in JEECE 2020. A list of the appeared candidates on order of merit based on the score obtained in the examination will be prepared by the Board and used for the purpose of allotment of seats. The board will release the result in the form of this merit list at the official website. The result will be published after the successful completion of the examination.
JEECE Tie-Breaking Criteria
In case of two or more than two candidates obtaining equal marks in the JEECE 20220, the inter-se-merit of such candidates shall be determined in order of preference as follows:
- Candidates obtaining higher marks in Mathematics in the Examination.
- Candidates obtaining higher marks in Physics in the Examination.
- Candidates older in age
- As per English alphabetical order of First Name
JEECE 2020 Counselling
Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (JCECEB) will conduct the e-counselling for both the Candiates who appered for JEECE 2020 as well as JEE Main 2020. Candidates are required to fill counselling application form through official website. Information for counselling is also available on the Board’s website. Candidates are advised to watch demo counselling video. Candidates placed in Merit List are advised to read the counselling information bulletin carefully and understand the course of action to be taken by them for appearing in the Counselling.
The fee mentioned below is as per 2019 and is expected to be same in 2020
Last year successful Candidates of General/BC -I/BC- II category who were called for counselling, submitted Rs. 400/- (Rs. 250/- in case of SC / ST / Female of all categories) by either RTGS or by using Credit / Debit card through swipe Machine to participate in the counselling.
Counselling will be conducted in two Rounds
1st Round of Counselling – After the publication of JEECE 2020 Result, The successful Candidates will be called for counselling as per their Merit rank obtained in the Entrance exam. Details such as date of counselling, time and place can be check online as well as Board’s website. During counselling, candidate will be allowed to select Institute and Course/ Stream on Merit-Cum-Choice at his/her Merit order, only after scrutiny of all the required original certificates/documents and satisfying his/her identity.
2nd Round of Counselling – If the seats remain vacant after admission of recommended candidates during the first round of counselling, second round of counselling will be held. In this counselling, Candidates who have admitted through 1st round of counselling may also participate to change their Course/Stream and institute. Other procedure will remain the same as mentioned above.

Successful candidates called for counselling must present the original documents and self-attested photocopies of the following Certificates/Documents at the time of counselling.

- Admit Card of Jharkhand Engineering Entrance Competitive Examination – 2019 (if ADMIT CARD is lost then copy of F.I.R. in this regard).
- Dependency certificate issued by competent Army Officer (for serving Army Personnel/Officer) or Dependency certificate issued by District Soldier Board (for ExServicemen) – who are claiming seat under SMQ Quota.
- Discharge Certificate (if applicable) I Pension Book. – who are claiming seat under SQM Quota.
- Disability Certificate issued by the Medical Superintendent/CMO/Head of Hospital.
Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination(JCECE) Board is the conducting body of varoius entrance exam held at state level for admission in government college of Jharkhand.
