Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board has released admit card for Combined Entrance Examination. JEECE 2018 is held for admission in 1st year B.E / B.Tech Degree courses for the academic year 2018-19. The entrance test is being conducted for the admission in first year degree level professional course like Engineering course (B.E / B.Tech) within the Jharkhand State or outside of the State Universities/ Colleges/ Institutes where there is a need of Recommendation to state. JEECE 2018 Counselling
Computerized Distributed Parallel/Online Counselling will be conducted by the Board. Information for counselling is also available on the Board’s website. Candidates placed in Merit List are advised to read the counselling information bulletin carefully and understand the course of action to be taken by them for appearing in the Counselling.
Last Round Counselling
Successful Candidates of General/BC -I/BC- II category who have been called for counselling, will have to submit Rs. 400/- ( Rs. 250/- in case of SC / ST / Female of all categories) by either RTGS or by using Credit / Debit card through swipe Machine to participate in the counselling.
Counselling will be conducted in two Rounds
1st Round of Counselling: – After publication of Result, successful candidates will be called for counselling as per Merit rank. Information regarding date of counselling, time and place will be given through the leading daily news papers of Jharkhand State as well as Board’s website. During counselling, candidate will be allowed to select Institute and Course/ Stream on Merit-Cum-Choice at his/her Merit order, only after scrutiny of all the required original certificates/documents and satisfying his/her identity.
2nd Round of Counselling: – If seats remain vacant after admission of recommended candidates during the first round of counselling, second round of counselling will be held. In this counselling, Candidates who have admitted through 1st round of counselling may also participate to change their Course/Stream and institute. Other procedure will remain same as mentioned above.

Important direction and informations for counselling:-
Successful candidates called for counselling must have to produce original copies and self-attested photo copies of the following Certificates/Documents at the time of counselling. A candidate can be debarred from allotment of Seat/Branch/Institute incase any required Certificate/Documents is not produced at the time of counseling.

- Admit Card, Marks Sheet, Passing Certificate (Original I Provisional) of I.Sc. /10+2 I Equivalent Examination.
- Local Resident Certificate issued by S.D.O. (Civil) I D.C. of Jharkhand State.
- Caste Certificate issued by S.D.O. (Civil) I D.C. of Jharkhand State.
- Income Certificate issued by S.D.O. (Civil) I D.C. of Jharkhand State – who are claiming seat under TFW Quota.
- One passport size photograph (made from the same negative of photograph uploaded at the time of filling up the online Application form).
- Admit Card of Jharkhand Engineering Entrance Competitive Examination – 2018 (if ADMIT CARD is lost then copy of F.I.R. in this regard).
- Dependency certificate issued by competent Army Officer (for serving Army Personnel/Officer) or Dependency certificate issued by District Soldier Board (for ExServicemen) – who are claiming seat under SMQ Quota.
- Discharge Certificate (if applicable) I Pension Book. – who are claiming seat under SMQ Quota.
- Disability Certificate issued by the Medical Superintendent/CMO/Head of Hospital.
Note: – Only F.I.R. copy will be entertained in case of losing ADMIT CARD. In other cases the same will not be entertained under any circumstances.
JEECE 2018 Application Form
Aplication form will be available online at the official website on the schedule date. Candidates can fill the application form by accessing the “Online Application for J.E.E.C.E. – 2018” on the home page of the Board’s official website i.e. www.jceceb.jharkhand.gov.in. Before applying through ONLINE method, get ready with Marks Sheet of Intermediate I 10+2, Scanned images of Photo, Signature & Left hand thumb impression. Applicants are allowed to submit only one application form. More than one application i.e. multiple applications from a applicant will be rejected. No option can be changed at a later stage after submission of an application. Candidates who are going to fill the application form must ensure his / her eligibility.

- Gen/BC-I/BC-II – Rs. 900/-
After submitting all the information, examination fee can be remitted through Payment Gateway through Credit Card / Debit Card / Net Banking. Service charge will be borne by the Applicant on using Credit Card / Debit Card / Net Banking.
Applicants who are using the ONLINE method for applying J.E.E.C.E. – 2018 need not send the Application Form to Board Office. However, the applicants are advised to retain hard copy of application form i.e. confirmation page for future references, counselling purpose or correspondence, if any.
Residential Criteria: The applicant must be a citizen of India and Local / Permanent resident of Jharkhand. A Applicant will have to submit/show Permanent or Local Resident certificate in proper format in ORIGINAL at the time of counselling, issued by competent authority [Sub Divisional Officer – (Civil) or Dy. Commissioner of Jharkhand State]. The Residential Certificate issued by any other authority will not be considered and his/her claim will be refused.
Educational Qualification (Engineering): The candidate must have passed I.Sc. / 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry subject AND has obtained at least 45 % marks (40% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken together.
Age Limit – B.E./B. Tech. – No maximum/ minimum age limit
Physical Criteria: – Medical Checkup of Applicants recommended for admission in all courses will be done by the Board and/or Institution and after check-up, only fit Applicant will be treated as eligible for admission.
JEECE 2018 Admit Card
Admit card for JEECE 2018 will be available online at the official website. Admit card will be released after the successful completion of the application form. Candidates who will fill the application form on time will only be able to get their admit card. Admit card contains important details of candidate like candidate’s name, exam center, exam timings etc. Candidates should download their admit card on or before going to the examination and must bring it at examination hall.
Subject Group for J.E.E.C.E. – 2018
P.C.M. Group – An Applicant who has passed or is appearing in I.Sc / 10+2 or equivalent examination with subjects Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and is interested in appearing in the Competitive Examination with Physics, Chemistry andMathematics, then he/she will be called PCM Group. He/She will have to give answer the question of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects in the examination.
JEECE 2018 Exam Details
Jharkhand Engineering Entrance Competitive Examination U.E.E.C.E.) – 2018 will be conducted on scheduled date The subject-wise timing & duration of examination are as follows:

Question Paper consists of both English and Hindi language. In case of any ambiguity in translation of any of the questions, its English version shall be treated as final.
Scoring and Marking
Each question carries 1 mark. For each correct response the Applicant will get 1 mark. For each incorrect response, ¼ marks will be deducted from the total score. No deduction from the total score will, however, be made if no response is indicated for a question in the answer sheet. The Applicants are advised not to attempt such question in answer sheet, if they are not sure of the correct response. More than one answer indicated against a question will be deemed as incorrect response and will be negatively marked.
For the purpose of evaluation, the Question Booklet code as printed in the OMR Answer Sheet will be accepted as final.
The JEECE 2018 will be conducted at Ranchi, Jamshedpur & Dhanbad. The Applicant should select two Convenient towns as centres for the Entrance Test. The Board reserves its discretion to allot a center other than the applicant’s choice.
JEECE 2018 Result
The board will prepare the combined merit list as well as category wise merit list of the appeared candidates in JEECE 2018. A list of the appeared candidates on order of merit based on the score obtained in the examination will be prepared by the Board and used for the purpose of allotment of seats. The board will release the result in the form of this merit list at the official website. The result will be published after the successful completion of the examination.
In case of two or more than two candidates obtaining equal marks in the JEECE-2018, the inter-se-merit of such candidates shall be determined in order of preference as follows:
- Candidates obtaining higher marks in Mathematics in the Examination.
- Candidates obtaining higher marks in Physics in the Examination.
- Candidates older in age
- As per English alphabetical order of First Name
