Uttar Pradesh Joint Entrance Examination 2020 for Polytechnic has been postponed. Earlier, the exam for all the groups was supposed to take place on April 26, 2020. The official exam conducting body did not specify the reason for the postponement, however, has been speculated that it due to escalating COVID-19 cases in India. With this, JEE Council has also announced revised dates for the exam.
What are JEECUP 2020 Revised Dates?
JEECUP 2020 for Group A and E will now be conducted on May 31, 2020, whereas for Group B, C, D, F, G, H, I and Group K1, K2, K3, K4, K5, K6, K7, K8 it will be held on June 01, 2020. On the official website, the revised dates for JEECUP 2020 application form correction window have also been released. The candidates can edit their application form between April 21 to 24, 2020. The correction window can be accessed at jeecup.nic.in after entering the application number and password.

Apart from the exam dates, the last date to apply for JEECUP 2020 is also extended. Now, the candidates can submit JEECUP 2020 application form till April 20, 2020. Earlier, the last date to apply for JEECUP 2020 was March 25, 2020. Candidates can fill online application forms available at jeecup.nic.in.

For the submission of JEECUP 2020 application form, candidates need to first select the group for which they want to apply. After that, the candidates have to fill the important details in the form. Next, they are required to upload the images and pay the application fee. The last step requires the candidates to take a printout of the confirmation page.
Apart from the last date to apply and revised exam dates for JEECUP, no other dates have been notified on the official website of the exam. It can be speculated that dates for other evens like admit card, answer key and result will be released after the lockdown is over. JEECUP 2020 admit card was earlier supposed to be out by the third week of April 2020. It can be downloaded by entering the application number and password.
Uttar Pradesh Joint Entrance Exam for Polytechnic is conducted for many courses which includes Engineering / Technology Diploma courses, Diploma in Pharmacy, Agriculture Engineering, Diploma in Hotel Management and Catering Technology. JEECUP is conducted both online and offline modes.
For Group A, E1 and E2, it is conducted in offline mode and for the rest of the groups, the exam is conducted in the online mode. The duration of the exam is 3 hours. The exam consists of single paper with 100 multiple-choice questions.
