West Bengal State Council of Technical Education (WBSCTE) will conduct the JEXPO and VOCLET 2018 entrance examinations for the various Diploma Polytechnic courses in Engineering and Technology. WBSCTE JEXPO and VOCLET 2018 will be held for the candidates seeking admission in various Polytechnic Colleges/Institutions of State of West Bengal. WBSCTE JEXPO and VOCLET 2018
Candidates, who will be willing to appear for WBSCTE JEXPO and VOCLET 2018, need to go through the important dates as given in the table below:

JEXPO 2018 will be conducted for the First Year of Diploma courses in Engineering & Technology and VOCLET 2018 for the Second Year of Diploma courses in Engineering & Technology.
Before applying, the candidates must ensure that they fulfill the eligibility criteria specified by the conducting body. The eligibility for both JEXPO 2018 and VOCLET 2018 are as follows:
For JEXPO 2018
Age – There will be no upper age limit but the candidate’s date of birth should not be after July 1, 2003.
Academic Qualification – Passed or appeared in 10th Standard with at least 35% marks in aggregate (except the marks of the additional subject) in the qualifying examination. Mathematics, Physical Science (Science) and English are mandatory subjects in the qualifying examination and a candidate must acquire at least pass marks in all the three subjects as per his/her secondary board.
For VOCLET 2018
Age – There will be no age limit for the candidates.
Academic Qualification – Passed or appeared in 10+2 examination from the WBSCT & VE & SD (VED) or Passed 2 years ITI after the Madhyamik or equivalent examination.
Candidates, who are willing to appear for the entrance examinations, will have to fill the application form as per the scheduled dates only. The application form can be filled through online mode as well as offline mode. Candidates can get the online application form from the official website of WBSCTE and offline application form from the registered WBSCTE counters by paying the prescribed application fee.
Candidates will have to complete the application form including registration, filing the application form, payment of application fee and validation of application form. Candidates must ensure that they fill the correct information in the application form.
Applied candidates will get the Admit Card few days before the entrance examination. The admit card will be available on the official website of WBSCTE i.e. webscte.org. Candidates can download their admit card by entering their Form number and Password (received at the time of application) from the official website. WBSCTE JEXPO and VOCLET 2018 Admit Card is an important document, therefore the candidates have to bring the admit card at the time of the examination. If any candidate will come without the admit card then he/she will not be allowed to appear for the examination.
Declaration of Result
The result will be declared for the candidates appeared in the entrance examination. The result will be uploaded on the official website of WBSCTE OR other websites such as exametc.com, indiaresults.com and examresults.net. Candidates can check their result by Enrolment number or by Name. Candidates can get their results through an SMS also. The result will consist of the scores obtained by the candidates in the examination. Candidates’ admission to applied Diploma Polytechnic course will depend on the result of JEXPO and VOCLET 2018 entrance examinations.
After the declaration of result, the qualified candidates will be called for the counselling sessions. In the counselling, the candidates will be allotted the seat for the course applied for. There will be various rounds for the counselling being held during the admission process. Candidates can check the counselling schedule from the official website of WBSCTE i.e. webscte.org. Candidates will have to register themselves by entering the basic details along with the payment of counselling fee. Candidates must appear as per the scheduled dates only and with all the important documents. If any candidate will appear without any of the document or ineligible at the counselling then his/her candidature will be cancelled by the conducting body.
