Eligibility Criteria & Fees
The eligibility criteria and fees details are mentioned below programme wise. Candidates can go through them before applying for the admission.
Five Year B.A./B.B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) Programme
10+2 and LSAT—India examination or equivalent with not less than 45% aggregate marks.
- Programme Fee – Rs. 5,50,000 per year
Three Year LL.B. Programme
Bachelor’s degree in any subject with not less than 45% aggregate marks.
- Programme Fee – Rs. 6,00,000 per year
One Year LL.M. Programme
Three-year LL.B. or five-year B.A. LL.B. with not less than 45% aggregate marks. Students graduating in 2018 can apply
- Programme Fee – Rs. 4,00,000 per year
Three Year PhD. Programme
An applicant seeking admission to the Ph.D. Programme must satisfy the following academic criteria: LL.M. with at least 55% marks or an equivalent grade. Applicants with more than 3 years industry/ teaching/ practising/ managerial/ professional experience will be given preference. Master’s Degree in a discipline relevant to the proposed research with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade having minimum of 3 years managerial/ professional experience.
- JGLS offers merit-based scholarships to deserving candidates.
- A fully refundable security deposit of Rs. 50,000 shall be collected at the time of admission as per university rules.

- Applicants for Five-year BA/BBA LL.B (H) programmes are required to make a payment of UG programmes application fees of INR 3000/- (Indian Rupees, Three Thousand Only).
- Applicants for 3-year LL.B/1-year LL.M programmes are required to make PG programmes application fees of INR 1000/ (Indian Rupees, One Thousand Only).

O.P. Jindal Outstanding Merit Scholarship
The top five LSAT—India test scorers who enroll in the three year LL.B. programme, five year B.A./B.B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) programme and a one year LL.M. programme will be awarded the O.P. Jindal Outstanding Merit Scholarship of Rs. 1 lakh per year. This will be based solely on their performance in the LSAT—India admission test.
Naveen Jindal Young Global Scholarships
The aim of the scholarship is to nurture, encourage and support young global leaders. One student from the five year B.A./B.B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) programme, One student from the three year LL.B. and another student from the one year LL.M. programme will be awarded this scholarship on the basis of an independent selection process. An award of one year programme fee will be given to the student of B.A./B.B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) and LL.B programme and for LL.M. 50% of the programme fee will be awarded to the selected student of LL.M. programme.
Shallu Jindal Outstanding Women Scholarships
The aim of the scholarship is to nurture, encourage and support outstanding women to enter the field of law. Two students from the three year LL.B. programme, two students from the five year B.A./B.B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) and two students from the one year LL.M. programme will be awarded this scholarship on the basis of an independent selection process. An award of 50% of one year programme fee will be given to each student. Studentships ranging from 10% to 75% of tuition fees are awarded on merit-cum-means basis to a substantial number of selected students as per university rules
