JIPMER MBBS 2020 – It has now been confirmed by MHRD that the admission for 2020 session in JIPMER, Puducherry and JIPMER, Karaikal is now based on NEET 2020. JIPMER MBBS 2020 Scrapped – Admission Through NEET 2020
The confirmation for scrapping of JIPMER entrance is made in Lok Sabha by MHRD. The ministry answered 6 questions and confirmed that as per Section 14 of the National Medical Commission Act, 2019, NEET is to be the only entrance exam for UG medical admission in the colleges and institutes in India.

JIPMER Admission 2020 via NEET
Now that the candidates have to appear for NEET 2020 to take admission in JIPMER 2020, the application form, syllabus and exam pattern that is to be followed os of NEET 2020.
NEET 2020 Syllabus: The syllabus of NEET is prescribed by MCI and the candidates have to follow the same for NEET. The syllabus of NEET 2020 includes class 11 and 12 level Physics, Chemistry and Biology. NEET 2020 Exam Pattern: The exam pattern of NEET 2020 is important for the candidatew who wish to take admission in JIPMER. The exam is to be held in an offline mode. The sections in the paper are Biology, Physics and Chemistry. NEET is the only exam by NTA that is conducted in the offline mode.

JIPMER 2020 Admission Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria is a must before applying for the JIPMER MBBS 2020. However, since the admission is based on NEET scores, the candidates have to satisfy the eligibility criteria for NEET 2020 too.
The eligibility criteria for JIPMER MBBS admission 2020 is given below:
- The candidate should have completed the age of 17 at the time of admission.
- As far as the academic qualification is concerned, the student should have completed 10+2 or its equivalent exam from a recognised board with Physics, Chemistry, Biology / Bio-technology. The candidate should have passed both theory and practical examination in these subjects.
- Should have obtained 60% marks in PCB taken together and should have passed these subjects individually.
- For the reserved category candidates, the candidates should have obtained 50% in the qualifying examination in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Biotechnology.
