JIPMER MBBS 2020 Counselling Process

Stage 1: Registration – To start with the counselling process, the candidates need to first register online. This process includes the payment of registration fee for counselling as well. The candidates have to register at mcc.nic.in. For the registration, the candidates have to registration number, roll number, mother’s name, date of birth etc. The registration fee can be paid online.
Stage 2: Choice Filling – After the registration, the candidates have to fill the choices of course / institute in which they want to take admission. Before attempting the choice filling, it is advised to go through the list of colleges and check the seats available. The candidates can submit as many choices they want.
Stage 3: Seat Allotment – Once the choice filling is done, the seat allotment list is published. The candidates are also issued the seat allotment letter. The candidates have to carry this seat allotment letter and other documents for other rounds of admission.
Stage 4: Reporting to the allotted college – The candidates who are allotted seats are required to report at the allotted college within the prescribed time in order to complete the admission processes. During this reporting, the candidates are required to submit the documents.

Round 2 (Candidates who registered for Round 1 and did not get the seat allotted are not required to register again)

Fresh registration for mop-up round who have:
- Registered for round 1 and exited availing free exit
- Registered in round 2 and exited with forfeiture of fees can register again
Note: However, candidates who have already joined and taken admission in Round 2 of AIQ / Deemed / Central Universities / AIIMS / JIPMER shall not be eligible to participate in mop-up round.
Final Stray Vacancy Round
- This is conducted by JIPMER (No new fresh registration will take place)
Documents Required to be Submitted at the Time of Reporting to the College
At the time of admission at the allotted college, the candidates need to submit the following documents:
- Allotment letter issued by MCC
- Result / rank card issued by NTA
- Admit card issued by NTA
- Date of birth certificate
- Class 10th and 12th certificate
- 8 passport size photographs (same as upload in the application form)
- Provisional allotment letter issued online
- A valid id proof (Aadhar card / Driving License / Passport)
- Category certificate (if applicable)
For NRI / OCI candidates appearing for Deemed Universities, the following documents are needed:
- Passport copy of Sponsor, Embassy certificate
- Sponsorship Affidavit (stating the sponsorer is ready to bear the expenses for the whole duration of the study)
- Relationship Affidavit (relation of the candidate with the sponsorer)
