JIPMER PG 2015 Result Declared - Exam Held on 23 Nov 2014 Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER) Puducherry has announced the result of JIPMER PG 2015 MD/MS entrance exam held on November 23, 2014. JIPMER PG 2015 Result has been declared on November 26, 2014 along with the detailed roll number wise merit list. Earlier it was notified in the brochure that result will be declared on 28th Nov, however the JIPMER results have been declared two days early. Candidates who appeared in the exam can download their call letters from December 1, 2014.

JIPMER PG 2015 Result of Exam Held on 23 Nov 2014 published

Rank 1 has been bagged by Rohan Kamat with a score of 703 has secured 100 percentile in the JIPMER PG 2015 exam. Lekshmi L V (Rank 2) secured 99.994 percentile with a score of 670. Soorampally Vijay (Rank 3) obtained 661 marks and his percentile is 99.988. Rank 4 holder is Mansi Gupta obtained 654 marks and got a percentile of 99.981. Prakash Parthasarathy (Rank 5) got 650 marks and his corresponding percentile is 99.975.

JIPMER PG 2015 Result Merit Ranking  is based on percentile. The percentile has been determined on the basis of the average marks obtained by the first top ten candidates in the JIPMER PG Entrance Examination MD / MS January 2015. Merit List would be drawn category wise based on minimum percentile as given below:

  • Unreserved (UR) / Institute (INST) / Sponsored / Deputed(SD) / Foreign Nationals (FN) : 50th percentile
  • Orthopedic Physically Challenged – UR (OPH) : 45th percentile
  • OBC / SC / ST (Including OPH) : 40th percentile

In order to be eligible for admission to any Postgraduate course at JIPMER, it shall be necessary for a candidate to obtain a percentile of 50 and above in the Entrance Examination for the current academic year. However, in respect of candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes including OPH, the minimum percentile shall be 40. In respect of Unreserved Orthopedic Physically Challenged (OPH) candidates, 45 shall be the minimum percentile. Candidates who secure less than the minimum percentile in the Entrance Examination will not be considered for admission and their names will not be included in the Merit List.
