JMI admission tests 2020 that were to be held from the month of April to July 2020 now stands postponed due to COVD-19. As per the notice that was uploaded by Jamia Milia Islamia on jmi.ac.in, not only the entrance exams that were scheduled in the month of April, but all the admission tests have been postponed until further notice. Until now, various institutes and bodies have been postponing the exams that were scheduled in April. But JMI becomes the first Institute to postpone the exams that were scheduled even in the month of May, June and July.
Jamia Milia Islamia holds entrance tests for UG, PG, M.Phil and Ph.D. courses in offline mode in Delhi and in exam centres in a few more cities outside Delhi. Therefore candidates travel and gather at allotted center to take their tests. Keeping nationwide lockdown due to COVID-19 in mind, JMI uploaded a notice on March 24, 2020, stating the postponement of the admission tests and that the new dates will be released later. JMI Also Extends Last Date to Apply for Admission Due to COVID-19
The admission process of Jamia Milia Islamia started on February 21, 2020, and the candidates were allowed to apply until March 25, 2020. However, with the COVID-19 pandemic, the last date to apply for admission has been extended to April 15, 2020, as notified via the notice uploaded on March 20, 2020.

JMI Admission 2020
Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) is a public central university. The university offers admission to many postgraduate, undergraduate, diploma and certificate courses in various streams.
To take admission in JMI, candidates have to apply online. The application form to apply for admission is available at jmi.ac.in. After filling the application form, successfully registered candidates are provided with JMI admission test admit card to appear for the entrance test.
The admission process consists of a written admission test, group discussion, and personal interview. The admission test is held at centers located in Indian cities like Calicut, Delhi, Guwahati, Patna, Srinagar, Kolkata and Lucknow.
