The selection of the candidates is solely based on JNUEE scores for all courses. But for preparing the merit list for JNU admission in M.Phil and Ph.D course, 70% weightage is given to the JNUEE scores and 30% weightage to viva. For all important dates of JNUEE 2020, check the table below.

JNUEE 2020 Admit Card
NTA releases the JNUEE 2020 admit card under the login of the candidates on jnuexams.nta.nic.in. Only those candidates who have successfully filled the JNUEE 2020 application form get their admit card for the same. Candidates must download their JNUEE 2020 admit card by entering their application number and date of birth / password. Candidates must go to the examination center as per the schedule given in their JNUEE 2020 admit card.
What to carry with admit card: The candidates have to take below given things with their admit card:
- One passport size photograph (same as uploaded on the Online Application Form) for pasting on the specific space in the attendance sheet at the exam center.
- Any one of the authorized government photo IDs in original, a valid photo Id can be any one of the following:
- PAN card, or
- Driving License, or
- Voter ID, or
- Passport, or
- Aadhaar Card (With photograph), or
- Aadhaar Enrolment Number, or
- Ration Card
- PwD certificate, if claiming the relaxation under PwD category

JNUEE 2020 Exam Pattern
Candidates can check the exam pattern for JNUEE 2020 from below.
Mode of examination: The exam is conducted in the computer based test format (LAN based CBT).
Duration of the examination: The total duration of the exam is 3 hours
Type of Questions: In the exam candidates are asked MCQ type questions.
Total Marks: The total marks in the exam is 100.
Total questions: The total number of question in the exam is 100, however this may vary from course to course.
Medium of the examination: The language of the paper is English. However, language courses may have an exception.
Marking scheme of the exam: 1 marks for correct response (weightage of each question may vary for different programme). There is no negative marking for incorrect responses.

JNUEE 2020 Preparation Tips

JNU Admission Process via JNUEE 2020
Jawaharlal Nehru University used to conduct the entrance exam on their own. However, from last year, the responsibility has been handed over to NTA. JNUEE 2020 Answer Key
After successfully conducting the JNUEE 2020 examination, NTA shall release answer keys for the appeared candidates. Candidates can download their JNUEE 2020 answer key by entering their application number and password. After downloading the JNUEE 2020 answer key candidates can use it and estimate their total marks scored in the JNUEE 2020 examination. To do so, candidates can add 1 / 2 / 3 / 4 marks as per the marking scheme of the concerned subject for each correct answer. There is no negative marking so candidates must not deduct any marks for the wrong answers.

After the release of the JNUEE 2020 answer key, NTA releases the result for the same. NTA releases the result for JNUEE 2020 examination in the form of a scorecard on the candidate’s login. 5% of the horizontal reservation shall be applicable as horizontal reservation for all the PwD candidates in all the categories.
JNUEE 2020 Application Form
The candidates have to apply for JNU entrance test for admission. The entrance test forms are released by National Testing Agency on jnuexams.nta.nic.in. To apply for JNU admission test or JNUEE 2020, the steps to be followed are given below:
Step 1: Click on the direct link for application form given on this page. The first step is to register. On registration the application form number is generated. Note it down.
Step 2: Next, candidates have to fill the full application form with correct details.
Step 3: Upload the scanned images as per the specification in the brochure and application form of JNUEE 2020.
Step 4: Pay the application fee as prescribed for the course applied for.
Step 5: Print the confirmation page. Form is submitted only if the confirmation page is generated.
Note: Candidates can apply for maximum of 3 courses. One application form must be submitted per candidate for the same level of programme, or else the application is rejected. Also, if a candidate gets admission in the course of the first choice, all rights for admission in rest 2 courses is eliminated. Thus be careful while selecting the choice of courses and their order of preference.

JNUEE 2020 Eligibility Criteria
To apply for JNUEE 2020, candidates must first of all the check the eligibility for JNU admission 2020. The admission is subjected to qualifying not only the entrance exam but also the eligibility. Check eligibility below:
Age limit:
Age limit is applicable for BA courses only. It is 17 years as on October 01, 2020
General criteria and subject wise qualifications for admission:
This criteria varies from course to course, however, the general criteria are:
- For admission in Ph.D and M.Phil courses candidates must complete their Masters and get a minimum qualifying marks
- For admission in master courses, candidates must complete their UG level of education and must have a minimum aggregate score.
- For admission in the UG courses, candidates must complete their10+2 level of education with minimum aggregate score as prescribed.

Admission of JRF holders to M.Phil and Ph.D programme
The candidates who have qualified for Junior Research Fellowship through CSIR/UGC National Eligibility Test (NET) examination are exempted from JNUEE. These candidates can apply separately in the respective school / centre / special centre wherever separate intake through JRF category is available. However, after applying, these candidates have to appear for an interview. Selection shall depend on their performance in the interview.
Foreign nationals applying for M.Phil and Ph.D programme
The foreign students get admission against the vacant seats, if any, after allotting seats to the Indian candidates who have qualified JNUEE
