Jammu University Admission 2017 through JUET 2017

Admission Notification has been issued for various academic programmes for the candidates who have qualified Jammu University Entrance Test (JUET–2017), with requisite percentage (30% for General/Other Categories; 25% for SC/ST & 20% for the Candidates with disabilities (Orthopedically Handicapped and Blind candidates)

Admission Form 2017

Candidates who have  who have qualified Jammu University Entrance Test (JUET–2017) can submit their Admission Form for admission to various academic programmes. Candidates can download the admission form from the University website or through the direct link given below.

Note : The admission form duly filled in and completed in all respects should be sent to the Head of the Department concerned/Nodal Department for admission to campuses/affiliated colleges either by registered post or delivered personally against the receipt clearly indicating the JUET – 2017 Roll No. Forms incomplete in any respect shall not be considered for admission. The admission forms received after the last date shall not be entertained in any circumstances.


For Admission to various Programmes Candidates Must have passed/Appeared in the final year of bachelor Degree Programme Required securing Requisite Percentage of aggregate marks.

Requisite Percentage

  • 30% for General/Other Categories
  • 25% for SC/ST
  • 20% for the Candidates with disabilities (Orthopedically Handicapped and Blind candidates)

Important Instruction

  • The criteria for admission to the PG and the UG courses shall remain the same as
    earlier notified by the University i.e. 75% for he academic merit and 25% for the
    JUET-2017 score.A
  • Any applicant seeking admission under the achievement categories as mentioned
    under Statute 6 (B) (ii) (Refer JUET – 2017 Admission Brochure, page No. 96) must
    also submit Achievement Certificates. The Achievement Certificates along with the
    prescribed downloaded application form shall be deposited in the Office of Prof.
    Satnam Kour, Convener (Sub Committee) for the assessment in the Achievement
    Categories (Session 2017- 18), C/o the Office of the Dean Students Welfare,
    University of Jammu, Jammu on or before 14th July, 2017.
  • If seeking admission under the reserved category, attach attested / self attested copy
    of the State Subject Certificate and reserved category certificate issued by the
    Competent Authority as per the latest SRO alongwith the allotment letter and the
    downloaded application form. No under process certificate shall be entertained.
    Candidates must attach Affidavit / Certificate wherever applicable (Refer page No.
    107 to 112 of JUET – 2017 Admission-cum-Information Brochure).
  • In respect of admission to the Campuses / Affiliated Colleges, the Nodal
    Departments shall charge the University Fee and remaining fee (if any) be charged
    directly by the respective Campus/Institute / College.
  • In case of admission in the courses of M.P.Ed. & B.P.Ed., the final selection list shall
    be notified only on completion of the Canadian / Physical Test to be conducted by
    the Department of Physical Education, University of Jammu.
  • In case of any kind of dispute, the matter shall be decided by the committee
    constituted for the purposed by the Vice-Chancellor. In case the candidate is not
    satisfied, the matter shall be referred to the Vice-Chancellor whose decision shall be
    final and binding upon the complainant.

Selection process

the JUET 2017 Result has been Declared, the Jammu University will publish the course wise merit list for the admission to various courses. The candidates whose names appear in the Admission List are required to report for the Admission to university on the specified date. Candidates failing to report on time will NOT be considered for admission.
