Karnataka DCET 2019 application form will be available for the KEA Diploma CET 2019 exam conducted by Karnataka Education Authority for admission to 2nd Year Engineering Courses and for 1st year Architecture Course under Lateral Entry Scheme for both Day and Evening Engineering Colleges. The application form for these courses will be made available online. The submission of the form will be online as well. The application process is divided into two phases for the benefit of the appearing candidate. The candidates are suggested to kindly fill the application form with exact details as no requests for corrections and change would be entertained.
Karnataka DCET 2019
The candidates willing to apply for the Karnataka DCET must be an Indian citizen and a resident of Karnataka. The candidate would be required to submit the documents supporting his residency. The candidates will have to go through two phases of application to get admission in the in the courses under Karnataka DCET. Karnataka DCET 2019 Application form
The application form for the Karnataka DECT 2019 will be available on the official website kea.kar.nic.in. The candidate will have to register themselves before applying for the 2nd year engineering courses and for first year architecture course.
Note: The candidate must note that the application details once submitted online shall act as the candidate’s final data in the KEA Computers. The candidates should, therefore, enter the details in the application form only after cross-checking with the original documents.
The candidates who will apply for the Karnataka DCET shall have to pay the application fee after submitting the application form. The candidates will be able to download the E-Challan from the official website after submitting the application form. Last year the candidates had to pay the following application fee. The fee for Karnata DCET is expected to remain the same this year also.

How to apply for Karnataka DCET 2019
The application process for Karnataka DCET is divided into two phases. In the first phase the candidate will have to fill the application form while the second phase is for selecting the declaration and payment of the application fee. Candidates can check out the step by step elaboration of the application process from below.
Phase 1 – Filling of online application form for Karnataka DCET 2019
Candidates can follow the below steps to complete the Phase – 1 of the application process
Step – 1: Visit the website kea.kar.nic.in and select the DCET-2019 UG Online Application.
Step – 2: Registration begins. The candidates will have to register on the website using “click here to register” The candidates would be provided an application number and USER-ID. The candidate will have to create a password to log in. Do not choose any complicated password.
Step – 3: In the login prompt enter the USER-ID and the password created by the candidate and login to the account.
Step – 4: After the candidate would log in, “student information” will be displayed. The candidate will then enter all the specified details as they are.
Step – 5: Once the candidate will fill all the details, he will have to save it.
Step – 6: Click the save and next button.
Step – 7: Upload the Photograph, Signature, Left thumb impression and Parents signatures
Note: The candidates must not forget to preview their application form and cross check with all the documents before submitting and proceeding to the Phase 2 of application. The data once submitted shall not be changed or rectify thereafter.
Phase 2 – Declaration and fee submission
Candidates can follow the below steps to complete the application process.
With the completion of phase 2, the application process for Karnataka DCET 2019 will be completed.
Step – 1: After all the details will be filled, the candidate will receive an application Id and password on the registered email address.
Step – 2: Upload recent passport size color photograph and signatures in JPG and JPEG format separately.
Step – 3: Take the printout of the challan copy created and take the same to the designated bank for fee payment.
Step – 4: Take the printout of the application form on the A4 size paper. Affix candidate’s recent Passport size Photograph, signature, Left Hand Thumb Impression on the space provided. After this, the candidate would be required to obtain Principal seal and signature from the college where they have studied Final Year Diploma on the space provided in the printed form. The same copy should be produced during document verification along with the copy of the Challan (KEA copy).
Note: Candidates must note that last year candidates after submitting their application form could make changes in it. This year it is not confirmed yet if the candidates would be able to make corrections in their application form once it is submitted. Thus, the candidates should make sure they fill their application form with the exact details and do not forget to preview and cross-check their application form before submitting.
The admit card for Karnataka DCET 2019 will be made available on the official website. Candidates will be able to download their admit card. candidates must preserve the admit card till they get admission in college or institution. The details such as the date of examination, examination name, examination time and the exam centre will be available on the admit card.
