Kashmir University Entrance Test 2022 Exam Pattern

Candidates can check the expected exam pattern for KUET 2022 is as follow.

For PG programmes

• Type of questions: There are MCQs
• Total no. of questions: There are total 60 questions in the test
• Negative marking: There will be negative marking of 0.25 marks in case of wrong answers

For M.A. Mass Communication & Journalism

• No. of papers: There are two papers for this subject’s entrance test

Question paper 1 of all the subjects will have 60 questions in total

Question Paper 2

• No. of questions: There are 5 question in total
• Total marks: These 5 questions will be of 40 marks

The final selection for admission to the programme shall be based on the combined merit obtained by the candidates in Paper 1 and Paper 2.

For MTTM

• The admission to MTTM Programme shall be made on the basis of the Entrance Test followed by a Group Discussion to be conducted by the University.
• 80% weightage shall be given to performance in Entrance Test and remaining 20% weightage to the performance in Group Discussion

For M.P. Ed.

For M.P.Ed. Programme only those candidates who qualify physical efficiency test shall be eligible to appear in the Entrance Test.

The result for KUET is declared in the form of a merit list. In case of two or more candidates secure the same number of marks, then the following tie-breaking process will be applied.

Tie-Breaking –

• Firstly of all, marks obtained in the qualifying examination will be considered.
• If the tie is still there, then, the aggregate marks in which admission is taken by taking merit of bachelor’s program will be considered.
• If the tie is still there, then, the marks in Higher Secondary (10+2) are considered.
