Karnataka DCET 2019 Result
Karnataka Diploma CET is a state level entrance exam, held for admission of candidates in engineering and architecture diploma programs, offered by the colleges of the state. The admission is granted in 2nd year engineering and 1st Year Architecture course under Lateral Entry Scheme for both morning and evening batch providing Engineering colleges, on the basis of DCET scores.

Karnataka DCET Merit List
The merit list of diploma holders for Day and Evening College B.E/B.Tech Courses will be prepared based on the marks obtained in the final year examination (or fifth and sixth semesters) leading to diploma in the relevant branch of Engineering and marks obtained in the DCET–2019 taken in equal proportions.
In the case of Architecture Course, the merit will be determined on the basis of marks obtained by candidates in the qualifying examination in all subjects and the valid NATA score taken in equal proportions.
Publication of Merit Lists DCET 2019
After the completion of common entrance test, the provisional ANSWER KEY will be published on the KEA Website: http://kea.kar.nic.in The candidates / parents / lecturers can file their objections, if any, addressed to the “Executive Director, Karnataka Examinations Authority, Bangalore” either in person, or through e ‐ mail, or by SPEED POST, with regard to any of the published Answer Key, along with all supporting documents / justification. Objections received from the candidates without justification shall not be considered. The objections received by KEA will be placed before an Expert Committee, whose decision will be final for determination of the right answer key. The answer key approved by the Expert Committee will be applied during evaluation for determination of merit order. As per the merit determined by the KEA, ranks will be assigned separately for,
- For Day Engineering College Courses.
- (i) For Evening Engineering College Courses (Bangalore).
(ii) For Evening Engineering College Courses (Mysore).
Things to note about merit lists:
- As per the norms and procedure the eligible candidates Result sheets will be published on KEA Website http://kea.kar.nic.in. The correct Answer Keys will also be published along with the results.
- Request for re‐totaling or revaluation of the OMR answer sheets will not be entertained, as the valuation and the subsequent scoring will be error free.
Karnataka DCET 2019 Result: Document Verification
After Karnataka DCET 2019 result is announced, candidates will have to submit their original documents for the Verification on documents. The documents to be verified will have to be submitted in 16 notified Helpline Centres across the state. It is mandatory that all candidates submit their documents for verification as admission shall be confirmed only upon verification of documents. After the documents are verified the authority will issue a verification slip.
Candidates will then be given the chance to mention their course options online, for which candidates will have to login to their user account. Karnataka Examination Authority will allow the seats Online after every round. The seat will be offered to the candidate in the order of Merit and based on the priority of options received from the candidates. Candidates can make as many choices as they like. - Original copy of the Challan proving the payment of Application fee.
- DCET Hall Ticket
- SSLC / 10th class / Equivalent examination marksheet

- 2 recent passport size colour photographs
Karnataka DCET 2019 Result: Cutoffs
Every year all colleges announce its cutoff scores.
