Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE) will conduct Kerala BSc. Nursing and Paramedical Counselling. The Centralised Allotment Process, also called a CAP, will be used for the allocation of seat in the participating college. Kerala B.Sc. Nursing and Paramedical CAP 2017

The counselling of Kerala B.Sc. Nursing has been started after the announcement of the rank list. The allotment will be done on the basis of rank secured by the candidates. However, it should be noted that Kerala Nursing CAP will only be held for the following seats:

  • Government seats in Government and Self Financing Institutes.
  • Management Seats in Government Controlled Self Financing Colleges.

Seat Allotment

The spot allotment to B.Sc. Nursing course and Paramedical Degree courses such as B.Sc. (M.L.T), B.Sc. Perfusion Technology, B.Sc.(Optometry), B.P.T, B.A.S.L.P, B.C.V.T, B.Sc. MRT, B.Sc. Medical Biochemistry and B.Sc. Medical Microbiology Courses-2017 is published herewith on the website www.cee.kerala.gov.in.he allotment is based on the online options received upto 27.11.2017, by the candidates included in various rank lists for B.Sc Nursing and Paramedical Degree Courses prepared and published by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations.

Candidates who receive allotment to the Nursing & Paramedical Degree courses shall have to produce a Demand Draft for Rs.5000/- (in the case of SC/ST/OEC candidates .Demand Draft for Rs.1000/-) drawn in favour of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations payable at Thiruvananthapuram.Candidates who receive an allotment in Spot Allotment will not be permitted to cancel the Allotment.

Special Online Allotment:

As per the orders of the Hon’ble High Court, the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations is directed to make allotment to the B.Sc Nursing course in 4 Private Self Financing Nursing colleges. Accordingly, online options are invited from candidates included in the rank list for B.Sc. Nursing Course– 2017, through the Website of Commissioner for Entrance Examinations www.cee.kerala.gov.in.

Candidates who seek allotment to any of the 4 Private Self Financing Nursing colleges given below shall have to log into their Home Page in the above website and register their options from 25.11.2017 to 27.11.2017, 5 pm.

Those who do not register their options online will not be considered for this phase of allotment. The candidates who are already admitted in Self Financing Nursing/Paramedical colleges shall not be considered for this allotment.

Spot Admission :

Candidates who wish to participate in the Spot Allotment have to register online through the official website or from the link given below before 1 pm on 03.11.2017.The details of vacant seats and notice of spot admission have been given below. Candidates can download Spot Allotment by logging into the candidate account through login. Candidates are required to be present during the Spot Admission along with the Spot Allotment.

Final Phase : 

The activities related to the final phase of allotment to B.Sc. Nursing course and Paramedical Degree courses such as B.Sc. (M.L.T), B.Sc. Perfusion Technology, B.Sc.(Optometry), B.P.T, B.A.S.L.P, B.C.V.T, B.Sc. MRT, B.Sc. Medical Biochemistry and B.Sc. Medical Microbiology will commence on 17.10.2017. As per GO (Rt.)No. 2805/2017/H&FWD dated: 11.10.2017, Government have directed to make allotment to the 5 Government seats each in the Self Financing Nursing colleges viz. MOSC college of Nursing, Kolenchery, JDT Islam college of Nursing, Calicut & AKG Memorial Co-operative college of Nursing, Kannur and also to the vacant seats existing in the Nursing colleges under SI-MET.
Hence, allotment shall be done in this phase to these seats also in addition to the vacant seats in Government Nursing/Paramedical Colleges and to the vacant seats of B.Sc MRT course in Malabar Cancer Centre, Thalassery.

Candidates included in the various rank lists for B.Sc. Nursing and Paramedical Degree
Courses – 2017 who want their existing higher order options to be considered for this phase of allotment shall have to log into their Home Page and confirm their options by clicking the ‘Confirm’ button available therein. After Online Option Confirmation, candidates can rearrange their existing higher order options or delete the unwanted options from 17.10.2017 to 19.10.2017, 1 pm, through the Website.

3rd Phase : 

The third phase of allotment to B.Sc. Nursing course and Paramedical Degree courses such as B.Sc. (M.L.T), B.Sc. Perfusion Technology, B.Sc.(Optometry), B.P.T, B.A.S.L.P, B.C.V.T, B.Sc. MRT, B.Sc. Medical Biochemistry and B.Sc. Medical Microbiology will commence on 11.09.2017 (Monday).

Candidates included in the various rank lists for B.Sc. Nursing and Paramedical Degree Courses – 2017 who want their existing higher order options to be considered for third phase of allotment shall have to log into their Home Page and confirm their options by clicking the ‘Confirm’ button available therein. After Online Option Confirmation, candidates can rearrange their existing higher order options or delete the unwanted options and also register fresh options to the newly included courses/colleges from 11.09.2017 to 13.09.2017, 1 pm.

Candidates who do not register their options within the stipulated time will not be considered for
allotment under any circumstances.

Counselling Schedule

The following Paramedical colleges have obtained the affiliation order from KUHS for the academic year 2017-18 and hence candidates can register fresh options to these colleges in this phase. But allotment to these colleges/courses shall be subject to the availability of necessary Government Orders in respect of these colleges/courses.

2nd Phase (Revised!) :

The last date for remittance of fee after the first phase of allotment to B.Sc. Nursing course and Paramedical Degree courses such as B.Sc. (M.L.T), B.Sc. Perfusion Technology, B.Sc.(Optometry), B.P.T, B.A.S.L.P, B.C.V.T, B.Sc. MRT, B.Sc. Medical Biochemistry and B.Sc. Medical Microbiology is extended up to 25 Aug 2017, 3 pm.

Prior to the second phase of allotment, candidates can re-arrange their existing higher order options or delete the unwanted options up to 25 Aug 2017, 3 pm through the website www.cee.kerala.gov.in. The following Nursing colleges have obtained the approval of Kerala Nurses and Midwives Council for the academic year 2017-18 and hence candidates can register fresh options to these colleges in the second phase.

The following Paramedical colleges have obtained the affiliation order from KUHS for the academic year 2017-18 and hence candidates can register fresh options to these colleges in the second phase.

The second phase of allotment to B.Sc Nursing and Paramedical Degree Courses based on the options received up to 3 pm on 25 Aug 2017 has been published on 26 Aug 2017.

1st Phase :

The candidates will should note that the seat will only be allocated to them, if they will satisfy the eligibility criteria of Kerala B.Sc. Nursing and Paramedical Admission, as well as the institute in which seat is allocated.

Procedure of CEE Kerala B.Sc. Nursing and Paramedical CAP

The entire procedure of B.Sc. Nursing and Paramedical 2017 CAP has been explained below. The candidates are advised to check it in order to understand how the admission will be granted and what all requirements a candidate need to 50keep ready in advance.

Issuance of Key Number: Before the beginning of the counselling, the candidates will be allocated a Key Number. The details about the number will be announced later on by the conducting body. However, it will be required for submitting the choices.

Register Options: The candidates need not register again for the counselling. Instead, they will be required to submit login and submit choices for the course and colleges. Candidates will be able to submit multiple choices. Out of these multiple streams, the admission will only be granted in one. Hence, it is advised that the candidates submit it in the order of priority. The procedure to register options in CAP is as below:

  • Click on the link provided on this page.
  • It will lead to the candidate login.
  • Enter Application Number and Password to access it.
  • Then, login to Option Registration Page’ by entering the Key Number and Password.
  • Choose the Register Option and then enter the choices.
  • Save the submitted options and before logout, take a print out of it.

Rearranging Submitted Option Choices: Until the end of the option filling, the candidates will be able to add, deduct or even shuffle the choices. Once the window for choice filling closes, the candidates will not be able to make any changes. The lastly added options will be locked automatically saved, if not saved until the last date for option filling.

Trial Allotment: The trial allotment will be announced when register options will be on going. Under it, the seats will be allocated to candidates provided an idea about the allotment which the candidates will get on the basis of the submitted choices. The candidates may use it to see if they are getting the choices of their choice or not by entering a particular set of preferences.

Seat Allotment: When the deadline to submit the choices will end, the seats will be allocated. The allocation will be done on the basis of the merit secured by the candidates and preferences stated by them. The candidates will be able to check it through the login. After checking the allotment, the candidates must secure a print of it.

The candidates will have to accept the seat by paying the fee amount. Then, the candidates will also have an option of participating in next round of counselling, by re-arranging the options.

Reporting at the Institute: Lastly, to confirm the admission, the candidates will have to report at the allocated college. There, the candidates will have to submit the below listed documents:

  • Data Sheet issued by CEE.
  • Allotment Memo
  • Fee Payment Receipt of fee remitted
  • Date of Birth Certificate
  • Transfer and Conduct Certificate, from Institute last attended
  • Higher Secondary Mark Sheet and Pass Certificate, in original
  • Original Mark Lists of Diploma in Pharmacy Part I and Part II exam
  • Eligibility Certificate, if applicable
  • Migration Certificate, if applicable.
  • Physical Fitness Certificate, in the prescribed format
  • Document certifying that candidates got Hepatitis B
  • Other document required to be produced by the Head of Institution.
