The government of Kerala Director of Medical Education, Thiruvananthapuram will release the online application form of LBS Nursing and Paramedical Admission 2020. How to apply online for the LBS Nursing and Paramedical Admission 2020
- The application is announced through online mode.
- Candidates have to fill the detail online and pay the application fee at the branch of the scheduled bank after taking a printout of the challan from the website lbscentre.kerala.gov.in.
- Before the final submission of the application form, candidates are informed to verify all the details filled by them.
- Candidates have to forward printout of application form with required documentation.
- Forwarding of downloaded academic data sheet duly signed along with attested copies of mark list.
- After publishing the provisional rank list the candidate has to register college/course options during the prescribed time. After the declaration of results of the qualifying examination.
Eligibility Criteria for Nursing and Paramedical Admission 2020
Nativity Criteria: Candidates who are native of India are eligible for admission into the LBS Nursing and Paramedical Admission 2020. Candidates who are holders of Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) cards/ Overseas Citizen of India (OCI), will also be treated as par Indian citizens for the limited purpose of admission.
Note: Candidates who are PIO card holders will not be eligible for any kind of reservation in admission to LBS Nursing and Paramedical 2020.
Candidates are classified into three different categories according to the nativity:
Keralite: A candidate of Kerala origin will be categorized as a ‘Keralite’. Children of All India Service (AIS) officers (Non-Keralites). But they will not be eligible for Communal/Special/Persons with Disabilities reservation
Non-Keralite Category I (NK I): Candidates who are not a Kerala of origin, but follow the following anyone criteria has treated as Non-Keralite Category I (NK I).
- A candidate who has undergone qualifying education in Kerala and who is son/daughter of Non-Keralite parents belong to Government of India/Defence Service posted to Kerala.
- A candidate who has undergone a qualifying course in Kerala and who is son/daughter of Non-Keralite parents who are serving/served Government of Kerala for a minimum period of two years.
- A candidate who is not of Kerala Origin but has been a resident of Kerala State for a period of 5(five) years within the period of 12(twelve) years of his/her study.
- A candidate who is not of Kerala Origin but who has undergone his/her school studies in Kerala from standard VIII to XII.
- Non-Keralite Category I candidates will be considered against ‘State Merit’ seats. But they will not be eligible for Communal/ Special/Persons with Disabilities reservation or any fee concession
Non-Keralite Category II [NK II]: Candidates who do not come under ‘Keralite’ or ‘Non-Keralite
Category I’ will be categorised as ‘Non-Keralite Category-II. Candidates also not eligible for the Communal/ Special/ Persons with Disabilities reservation or any fee concession.

B.A.S.L.P. Course | Candidates have to pass the Higher Secondary examination conducted by Board of Higher Secondary Education, Kerala, or relevant Examination which has approved by Kerala University of Health Sciences, Thrissur. | Candidates have to pass with 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology / Mathematics /Computer Science /Statistics /Electronics /Psychology. |

Note: Students applying for admission to B.P.T course should have studied English as a subject in Higher Secondary level.
Age Criteria:
- Candidates have to complete the age of 17 years on December 31, 2020.
- No relaxation in the minimum age and no upper age limit will be for candidates under service quota.
- For B.Sc. Nursing, B.Sc.(M.L.T) and B.Sc Optometry courses upper age limit for candidates under service quota will be 46 years on December 31, 2020.
Selection Procedure of LBS Nursing and Paramedical Admission 2020
Selection procedure LBS Nursing and Paramedical Admission 2020 will be based on the Rank List, which has prepared on the basis of marks obtained in the last qualifying examination of Higher Secondary examination. For the LBS Nursing and Paramedical courses, three rank list will be prepared for admission in 2020. There will be three rank list according to the Programmes, which is mentioned below.
Rank List I: For allotment to B.Sc. Nursing, B.Sc. (M.L.T) and B.Sc. Optometry Rank Lists will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained by candidates for Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English at the final year of the qualifying examination.
Rank List II: For allotment to B.Sc. Perfusion Technology, B.C.V.T, B.P.T, B.Sc. Medical Radiological Technology course Rank Lists will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained by candidates for Physics, Chemistry and Biology at the final year of the qualifying examination.
Rank List III: For allotment to B.A.S.L.P. course Rank list will be prepared on the basis of the marks obtained by the candidate for Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Mathematics/Computer Science/Statistics/Electronics/Psychology at the final year of the qualifying examination.
