LEEP 2019 is the Lateral Entry in Engineering & Pharmacy courses in Rajasthan for which the application process starts by the 4th week of July. Candidates having passed their Diploma in Engineering or B.Sc (with Maths as a subject) with a minimum of 45% marks will become eligible to pursue their desired lateral entry course from the State of Rajasthan. LEEP 2019 Selection Process
In order to pursue any lateral entry in engineering and pharmacy courses from Rajasthan, a candidate needs to go through these selection rounds.
- Check and make sure, you fulfill the eligibility criteria.
- As and when the forms release, apply over the official website or click the direct link, provided on our application form page.
- RTU, Rajasthan prepares and releases a merit list separately for engineering and pharmacy programme.
- Selected candidates are then asked to complete the online LEEP 2019 counseling procedure. For this, a candidate need to get themselves registered, fill up the online application, do choice filling and pay off the counseling fee in online mode.

Note : Candidates who have passed Degree in Science (B.Sc.) with mathematics as a subject can opt for any discipline of engineering.
LEEP 2019 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates need to fulfill the eligibility criteria for LEEP 2019, as mentioned below. If any candidate found not to fulfill any of these criteria, his/her candidature will be cancelled.
- Minimum Marks Requirement – 45% marks (40% for SC/ST/Non Creamy Layer OBC)
- Stream – Diploma in Engineering from an AICTE approved institution or B.Sc. Mathematics
A candidate is preferred for admissions, as per the criteria mentioned below.
- Passed Diploma from Board of Technical Education, Rajasthan, Jodhpur.
- Residents of Rajasthan having either passed diploma from institutions located in Rajasthan and considered equivalent by BTE Rajasthan, Jodhpur or from Board of Technical Education in other States.
- Candidates having passed Diploma from State Boards of Technical Education outside Rajasthan.
- Candidates having passed B.Sc.(with Mathematics) from Universities in Rajasthan.
- Candidates having passed B.Sc. (with Mathematics) from any UGC affiliated college.
LEEP 2019 Application Form
Application form will be available online on the official website www.rtu.ac.in or ww.leepadm.com. Application form of LEEP 2019 also includes the option entry form. Candidates who are eligible for the lateral entry admission in engineering courses must apply for the Lateral Entry in Engineering & Pharmacy. LEEP 2019 Merit List
Merit & Allotment Letter will be notified by the officials for Rajasthan LEEP 2019 admission for Lateral Entry in Engineering & Pharmacy courses. Candidates can check the merit/allotment from the official website. As their names appear on the merit list, a candidate is then asked to appear in online counseling round. Further, if qualified for counselling round, a candidate is then asked to report to the allotted center.
LEEP 2019 Seat Allotment
The LEEP 2019 allotment of institutes and branches will be done as per available seats through computer program strictly according to the merit and the order of choices given by the candidates. The candidates will be informed about allotments through website and through the participating institutes. The allotment letters will not be sent to the candidates separately. The Candidates have to report in the allotted LEEP 2019 institute and have to deposit the requisite fees in the allotted institute within the prescribed period.
LEEP 2019 Counselling Process
The LEEP 2019 online counseling process broadly involves the following four stages:
- Stage I: Online registration,
- Stage II: Online Choice filling and locking Stage
- Stage III: Seat Allotment Procedure Stage
- Stage IV: Physical Reporting and Admission in the Allotted Institute
In the final step, a candidate needs to get the following documents verified. Only after which, he/she is allotted a seat at any of its member colleges. These documents are – 10th/ SSC Marks List, Transfer Certificate and Conduct Certificate, Caste Certificate, 10th & Intermediate Certificates and Income Certificate of the Student.
LEEP 2019 Reservation Criteria
As prescribed by the Govt. of Rajasthan (except in case of Private unaided Institutions and 50% seats in the self finance course of the aided institutions) the reservation of seats will be made subject to the prevalent statutory provisions of the State of Rajasthan viz. 16% for SC candidates, 12% for ST candidates and 21% for candidates belonging to non-creamy layer OBC category.
Provision will also be made for horizontal reservation of 3% for candidates (of Bonafied of Rajasthan) belonging to physically handicap, 25% for women category and 3% for dependants of Defence Killed/Ex-servicemen / Gallantry award winners.

Q1. Who are eligible to appear for LEEP?
Ans. A diploma holder in Engineering from any of the AICTE/UGC recognised institute. He/she should have passed the diploma degree with a minimum of 45% marks (40% for SC/ST/Non Creamy Layer OBC/Non Creamy Layer MBC candidates of Rajasthan) or should have pursued B.Sc. with mathematics with the same minimum marks requirement.
Q2. If a candidate has applied for rechecking of their qualifying exam paper, will then also a candidate be eligible to apply?
Ans. No, a candidate should have fully passed their qualifying exam, only then he/she is eligible to apply for LEEP 2019.
Q3. Is Aadhar Number compulsory for online LEEP registration?
Ans. Yes, a candidate necessarily needs Aadhar Number for registration purposes. If a candidate belongs to Assam, Meghalaya and Jammu and Kashmir and doesn’t have a Aadhar Card, he/she can fill their Passport/Voter ID Card/ Ration Card / other ID card details issued by the Government.
Q4. What is the age limit for LEEP 2019 registration?
Ans. There is no age limit applicable for LEEP 2019 registration.
Q5. Can percentage of marks secured be replaced with CGPA secured, while filling education related details?
Ans. No. A candidate needs to calculate and enter their percentage of marks in the space provided, over the LEEP 2019 registration form.
