Structure of LNMIIT Question Papers

LNMIIT Question Paper Design

Point 1 indicates the instructions that candidates have to read before attempting the questions. These instructions are mentioned on every question paper.

Point 2 indicates the type of questions that are asked in the exam. The questions papers are objective in nature. In other words, the paper consists of multiple-choice questions, which means that there are four alternative choices for every question.

LNMIIT Exam Pattern 2020

The exam pattern given below is according to the previous year’s examination pattern. Sometimes, the exam pattern changes every year. Hence to prepare for this year’s exam, refer the pattern of last year.

For M.Sc Mathematics

  • Duration: The duration of the exam is 2 hours
  • No. of questions: There are 43 questions
  • Maximum marks: The exam is of 50 marks in total
  • Type of questions: There are multiple-choice questions in the test

Marking scheme

M.Tech M.S (CSE)

  • Duration: The duration of the exam is 2 hours
  • Maximum marks: The exam is of 50 marks
  • Marking scheme: 01 marks for the correct answers. There is no negative marking

M.Tech M.S (ESE)

  • Duration: The duration of the exam is 2 hours
  • Maximum marks: The exam is of 50 marks
  • Total no of questions: There are 60 questions out of which only 50 questions have to be attempted
  • Sections: There are 2 sections A and B. Section A is Aptitude and Section B is Subject Specific
  • Marking scheme: 01 marks for the correct answers. There is no negative marking

M.Sc. Physics

  • Duration: The duration of the exam is 1.5 hours
  • Total marks: The exam is 40 marks in total
  • No. of questions: There are total of 8 questions

How to Use LNMIIT Previous Year Question Papers?

Once the candidates have downloaded the question paper, some points must be kept in mind while solving the question papers. Check the points given below for the same.

  • First, check the syllabus and complete it. Only after completing the syllabus, it is apt to solve the question papers.
  • While solving the question papers, be in sync with the duration allotted for the exam. Set a timer accordingly.
  • The candidates must check all the instructions written on top of the question papers and then, proceed with answering the questions.
  • First, solve the question in your mind and then, have a look at the options provided to solve the questions.
