LSAT India 2020 – LSAT Indian 2020 result is out, candidates can check it on the official website, discoverlaw.excelindia.com, or using the direct link on this page. The US-based Law School Admission Council (LSAC) conducts the LSAT India 2020 in online mode. Law School Admission Test (LSAT) is an entrance exam conducted by Law School Admission Council (LSAC) for admissions to undergraduate and postgraduate law courses such as 5 years integrated BA LLB course / BBA LLB law program and in the 3-year law program. The test consists majorly of 4 sections and is designed in such a way where the reading and verbal reasoning skills are tested. LSAT India 2020 Result

The result for LSAT India 2020 is going to be decalared in the online mode. Candidates can check their respevctive resuly by entering either the roll number or registration number and password. The result is declared in the form of scorecard. The scorecard also specifies the rank of the candidates. It must be noted that the result can be checked at the online platform only. It will not be sent via post or intimated over e-mail.

Due to the current situation of COVID-19 in the whole world, The US-based Law School Admission Council (LSAC) has introduced a new version of the LSAT i.e. LSAT Flex. It is introduced for the candidates who have registered for April and June 2020 exams which were canceled in the United States and Canada. Candidates can take their tests at their homes. This version is introduced for the safety of candidates.

  • For May LSAT Flex – The test will be conducted either on May 18 or May 19, 2020.
  • For june LSAT Flex – The test will be conducted either on June 14 or June 15, 2020.

LSAT India 2020 Application Form

The application form for LSAT India releases online on discoverlaw.in. Pearson VUE on the behalf of LSAC releases the application form. Candidates can register themselves before filling the LSAT India 2020 application form.

  • Firstly, the candidates are required to register themselves.
  • Then, after the registration, candidates are required to login with the credentials sent to them.
  • Fill the application form by entering details like personal, address, communication details
  • Upload the documents in the proper format.
  • Then, as the last step pay the application fee.

Application Fee: The candidates are required to submit Rs. 3800 through online payment gateways such as credit card / debit card.

LSAT India 2020 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates who are thinking to pursue Law as their professional degree are required to fulfill the eligibility conditions in order to take admission. Before meeting these eligibility requirements, the candidates cannot take admission in their respective courses. Check the eligibility criteria given below for LSAT India 2020.

  • For BA LLB: The candidates must have passed 10+2 with minimum 45% marks.
  • For BBA LLB: The candidates must have passed 10+2 with minimum 45% marks.
  • For LLM: The candidates must have minimum 45% marks in LLB.

The exam pattern specifies the duration of the exam, number of questions, sections which will come in the exam etc. This is why, it is beneficial to check the exam pattern before the exam as this allows the candidates to plan out a strategy for scoring well in the exam. Analytical Reasinoning: The section measure the ability to understand the structure of relationships. The questions which are asked are generally set of statements, rules and principles which describes relationships among things, persons and events.

Reading Comprehension: The questions in this sections basically tests the reading and unserstanding skills of the test – takers. This section consists of the 4 sets of reading questions where almost 4 to 9 questions are asked.

Logical Reasoning: The questions in this section jusges the test takers as per their ability to analyze, critically evaluate, complete the arguments. The questions are ranges from central to legal reasoning. Critical skills are also tested which includes drawing well-supported conclusions, reasononing by analogy, applying principles or rules and identifying argument flaws.

Apart from knowing the exam pattern, it is important for the candidates to be aware some preparation strategies in order to score well in the examination. So, check the expert tips provided below.

  1. Proper Time Management: Before starting with the preparation, it is important to make a proper time table in which sections can be completed. Follow the same time table till the day of exam.
  2. Analyze the syllabus properly: The candidates have to take care of the topics and chapters mentioned in the syllabus. Prepare as per the syllabus in order to score better in the exam.
  3. Purchase good study material: The books help the candidates in a different way. It is the books only through which sucess of qualifying the exam can be achieved. So, purchase those books which have the concepts clear in them.
  4. Practice the sample papers: The sample papers can be practiced by the candidates in order to qualify the exam. As practice makes the man perfect, similarly practicing more and more sample papers will help in increasing efficiency and spped.

LSAT India does not include a writing sample but LSAT does. Also, LSAT scores are used in many law schools in USA, Canada and Australia while LSAT scores are only accepted in India.

Ans : LSAT scores cannot get substituted for LSAT India. However, some colleges differ on this decision.
