Maharashtra MCA Common Entrance Test or MAH MCA CET has been postponed. Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell, have announced that they are rescheduling the exam on April 30, 2020. Earlier the exam was supposed to be held on March 28, 2020. This is one of the many entrance exams of the nation, that is being postponed due to the COVID-19 disease.
This state-level entrance exam for admission in first year / direct second year in MCA course in Government / Self-financed / Government affiliated and private colleges is conducted by the Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell. CET cell rolled out this notification on the official website cetcell.mahacet.org on March 17, 2020.
The notice is in the form of an announcement that says:
“MAH-MCA-CET 2020 will be rescheduled on 30th April 2020, detailed circular will be displayed shortly.” The official circular for the same has not been released yet.

MAH MCA CET 2020
MAH MCA CET is a state level entrance exam. The application process for it has ended and the issuance of admit card was to begin from March 12, 2020. However, now that the exam has been postponed, it has also been delayed.
The notice on the website says: “Call letter Download will start soon.”

The qualifying candidates of MAH MCA CET have to go through a counselling process via which they are allotted seats in the MCA course offered by the Government / Self-financed / Government affiliated and private colleges of Maharashtra state.
Pattern of the exam: MAH MCA CET is an online exam that requires the candidates to visit their allotted exam center and take the test. The exam is of 90 minutes and 100 MCQs are asked from the below given subjects:
- Mathematics & Statistics – 30 questions
- Logical / Abstract Reasoning – 30 questions
- English comprehension and verbal ability – 20 questions
- Computer Concepts – 20 questions
