My son is aspiring to get admission to B E First year in 2018 .
While filling options form , for CAP round-1 , it is observed that COEP-IT Branch is not available while sorting out to choice list.
But in seat matrix it is shown that , for COEP , seats availabilty is as below :
    – CS-60 seats & for IT-60 seats , too.
Then why IT Branch is not available for choice list & further for preference list ?
Will this make any loss to my son (or such like students), hoping admission to IT Branch in COEP, on basis of their SML no. ?

If the IT Branch in COEP, is merged in CE/CSE , what are the total no. of seats of this branch now , it’s new correct name & code no. of this branch ?
I will be very thankful DTE / COEP , if it is being made very clear & anthetic way , that what is exact situation in this case?
I hope this information will help us atleast at the time of framing out options at CAP round-2.
    Please, clearify urgently.
    Thanks

    – Laxman Kalshetti
