After postponing MHT CET 2020, the State CET Cell, Maharashtra, has also postponed the MH CET Law 2020 (5 Years). The state-level CET for admission in LLB 5 years course was to be held on April 12, 2020. However, as the nation goes into 21 days lockdown from March 25, 2020, due to COVID-19, there is no way the exam can now be held on this date.
The state CET CEll, have notified all the registered candidates and their parents about this via a public notice on cetcell.mahacet.org. The notice was issued on March 25, 2020, at around 12 noon. The notice states the following:
- Around 22,398 candidates are expected to appear for LLB 5 years CET 2020.
- To take precautions against COVID-19 and to avoid such mass gathering, CET Cell is postponing the exam.
- Admit card download is also being delayed.
- The new dates and admit card download schedule shall be announced later.

Maharashtra State CET Cell Helpdesk Number for Candidates
Keeping the COVID-19 situation in view, the state CET cell has issued some important helpdesk numbers. While the nation is in lockdown, students can use the number to contact the CET Cell to resolve their queries from the safety of their homes. The notice for the helpdesk numbers is as follows:

MHT CET Law 2020 5 Years
In the state of Maharashtra, the admission in the colleges is based on MHT CET Law 2020. For the 5 years integrated course of law MHT CET Law 5 years is held and for the 3 years course MHT CET Law 3 years held. However, there is no notice for postponement of the MHT CET Law 3 years as the exam date for the same is later on June 28, 2020.
The admit card for MHT CET Law 5 years 2020 was to be out on March 27, 2020. However, the same has also been delayed until further notice.
The state level entrance test will be held in the online mode only and there will be 150 MCQ type questions. The total marks of the exam will be 150 and question will come from the following topics:
- Legal Aptitude and Legal Reasoning
- General Knowledge with Current Affairs
- Logical and Analytical Reasoning
- English
- Mathematical Aptitude
