MHT CET 2020 Official Answer Key
DTE, Maharashtra, releases MHT CET official answer key online once the exam is conducted for both PCM and PCB groups. It is released online at mhtcet2020.mahaonline.gov.in. To download the answer key, candidates will need to log in by entering their application number and password. Along with the answer key, candidates will also get the question paper and their response sheet online. These can be used for cross-checking the answers and calculating the probable score.
How to use the MHT CET 2020 Answer Key to Calculate Scores?
Now after downloading the relevant answer key, the next thing that the candidate has to do is calculate the expected marks in the exam. How to calculate the marks: The number of correct questions is to be multiplied with 1 in the case of Physics, Chemistry, and Biology subjects. While for Maths the number of correct answers is to be multiplied by 2. Since there is no negative marking, the candidates need not deduct any marks for wrong answers.
MHT CET 2020 Exam Pattern
The candidates can check below the exam pattern of MHT CET 2020:
- Mode of Exam – The mode of exam is Computer-based (online mode)
- Question paper language: The medium of question paper is English, Urdu, and Marathi
- Duration of the exam: Each of the groups that are PCM group and PCB group has been allotted 180 mins to complete the exam.
- Negative marking: There is no negative marking in the exam. The marks distribution in the paper is given below.
- Total no. of questions –
- Group I (PCM) – There are total 150 questions of 200 marks
- Group II (PCB) – There are total 200 questions of 200 marks
1. The candidates who wish to take admission in Engineering and Technology courses have to appear for Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics – PCM group
2. Candidates who wish to take admission in of Pharm.D courses have to appear for Physics, Chemistry as well as Mathematics and/or Biology – (PCB or PCMB)

MHT CET 2020 Result
The raw scores of MHT CET 2020 are calculated based on the final answer key. These raw scores are then converted to percentile scores. CET cell announces the result of MHT CET 2020 in the form of a scorecard online on mahacet.org. The result can be downloaded from the candidate’s login using User Id and password. The result has the percentile scores and raw scores of the candidates. The admission and merit is based on the percentile score of the candidates. On the day of counselling candidates have to carry the print of scorecard.

Maharashtra Common Entrance Test or as it is commonly known as MHT CET is a state level entrance examination. It is conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education. MHT CET score is used to offer admission to the candidates for engineering and pharmacy courses in the colleges in the state of Maharashtra. MHT CET is held in online mode which consists of MCQ type questions from Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics / Biology (based on the course selected by the students). This year, a total of 451906 applications were received for MHT CET 2020.
