MHT CET 2018 – The online registration was been started again and the last date to submit application form / registration of MHT CET 2018 with late fee was April 04. Now, MHT CET 2018 admit card has been released on April 24. DTE Maharashtra is conducting Maharashtra Common Entrance Test, MHT CET 2018. The exam is scheduled to be held on May 10, 2018. On the same day, Paper I (mathematics), Paper II (physics and chemistry), Paper III (biology) will be held. Changes in MHT CET are aimed at bringing it at par with national level exams. The new MHT CET syllabus 2018 comprises of 20% topics from class 11 syllabus, whereas, the remaining 80% topics will be from MSBSHSE class 12th syllabus. Candidates will be granted admission on the basis of rank secured in the exam, followed by Centralised Admission Process (CAP). Candidates aiming to get admission in the first year of BE / B.Tech, B.Pharmacy, Pharm.D courses have to apply for the Maharashtra Common Entrance Test and qualify it. Candidates are requested to note that MHT CET 2018 is not for medical (MBBS) admission. The important dates are as follows:

MHT CET 2018 will be an online examination, in which the questions will be asked from Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics / Biology. The level of the exam will be suitable for class 11 and 12 qualified students.
Changes in MHT CET 2018
- Only 20% weightage will be of class 11th syllabus. Rest 80%, is of class 12th syllabus.
- DTE Maharashtra has decided to bring the difficulty level of MHT CET – physics, chemistry, mathematics papers to that of the national level engineering entrance exam JEE Main. By the same token, the difficulty level of biology paper will be comparable to national level medical entrance exam NEET. Both these exams, JEE Main and NEET, are currently organized by the Central Board of Secondary Education.

Eligibility Criteria for MH CET 2018
All the candidates passed / appearing at the qualifying examination i.e. HSC/12th Standard
examination or its equivalent examination and having Indian Nationality are eligible for appearing
for MHT-CET 2018. There is no age limit for admission and appearing to MHT-CET 2018.

The application form of MHT CET 2018 is available from January 18, 2018
How to apply?
As soon as the form is available, candidates can register at dtemaharashtra.gov.in and confirm it. The application form will be available in online mode. To register, enter personal details including a valid email id, personal mobile. Upload recent colour photograph in light / white background (15 – 50 kb), signature in black pen on white paper (05 – 20 kb).
The application fee is Rs 800 for all General category candidates, all Outside Maharashtra State candidates, J&K migrants. The fee amount is Rs 600 for SC, ST, VJ/DT – NT(A), NT(B), NT(C), NT(D), OBC, SBC, PWD belonging to Maharashtra state only.
MHT CET Admit Card 2018
You can download the admit card of Maharashtra Common Entrance Test 2018 after submission of application form. It is not immediately available after submitting the form. The official website for MHT CET 2018 Admit Card download will be same as the one for registration, dtemaharashtra.gov.in. You must log in using application number, password to download it. Take it to exam centre on the day of the exam. This year the availability of admit card is from April 24 to May 10, 2018
Allocation of exam centre
MHT CET 2018 is looked forward to be conducted at district headquarters in the State of Maharashtra. Usually, centre of examination is the same district from where the candidate has passed or is appearing in qualifying examination. DTE Maharashtra allots centre of examination; it is conveyed through admit card.

MHT CET Result 2018
DTE Maharashtra will announce the result of the Common Entrance Test on or before
June 3, 2018.
The exam conducting body looks after organizing the exam at all assigned centres, evaluation of answer sheets, and thereafter declaration of results.
Candidates can check their result at dtemaharashtra.gov.in.
Prior to publishing result, DTE Maharashtra might also release official answer keys. Candidates can use the answer key to know answers to all questions and estimate score.The candidates will also be given the facility to see their OMR sheets by logging in using application number and password.
Once the result is out, candidates can download mark sheets from the website. There will be document verification and publishing of merit lists on basis of the result of MHT CET 2018. Candidates will be invited to apply for admission.

Allotment for All India Quota seats is usually on basis of JEE Main.
