How to Prepare for MHT CET 2019?
Every year lakhs of the candidates appear for the Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MHT CET). Furthermore, the difficulty level of the test is as par with JEE Main. One good part about the MHT CET is that there is no negative marking which makes it a bit easy and your chances of qualifying the test increases. However, this definitely does not mean that it is on the easy side of the difficulty level. Hence, to prepare for the MHT CET, we have mentioned few tips:
#1. Prepare Notes
The best way to study for an entrance exam is to prepare notes for it. This will not only help you presently but also in the future when you are doing the revision. You can either note down the important points or marks it with the highlighter or make flashcards. Whenever you come across with a new formula while MH CET Preparation, it is best to note down and also to revise these at end of each day.
It is very important that with each covered topic and chapter you make small notes or a comprehensive list of formulas which will come in handy at the time of revision. This will require you to be regular with your work but will surely make things easy at the time of revision.
#2. Make a Proper Study Timetable
In order to be more disciplined and organized in your preparation, you should make a study timetable. Now, this timetable does not have to be too much elaborate. It should be just simple and crisp. For example, like at what time you will wake up, get fresh, have a break, then at around what time you will sit to study, etc. As the time approaches for the MHT CET exam, you can modify this time schedule of your as per the current need. Add at least 15-20 minutes of break in between the study.
#3. Practice Mock Tests
One of the important steps while preparing for the entrance exam is to do mock tests. Doing mock tests have always been recommended by the Toppers and entrance exam experts of the various coaching institutes. Solving mock test series will help you analyze your strengths and weakness, the difficulty level of the paper and what you should start working on. Also, this will help you to increase your speed. The Mock tests are important because of the practice they provide.
Pick a mock test series, create an environment as like the entrance examination so that you know how to work in a pressure environment, check your performance in the mock test, find out your weak points and work on them.
#4. Solve Previous Year Question Papers
Besides from doing the mock test, the candidates should also solve previous year question papers. These are the most authentic source of information for the exam pattern. Solving these papers give some kind of self-evaluation about speed and time management. You must solve as many as previous year papers as much as possible.
